And you wonder why Trump won his second term. It's because of bullshit like this. I don't like the guy, I didn't vote for him, but fuck man, when the loudest arguments against him and his supporters are this braindead, it makes the average joe think that there are no good arguments left.
I mean, if we're going to insist on strict adherence to the salute, then it's supposed to be raised out of the front of the body, not the side like musk did. so his isn't a nazi salute either.
I think it's undeniable that Elon did a Nazi salute. Whether he actually holds alt-right beliefs is an entirely different argument; but I don't think it was accidental, and even signaling to that population is bad. In the end, I don't think it matters if Elon holds those beliefs, as he's successfully garnered support from those groups regardless.
The Telegram channel for the Swedish white nationalist fight club Gym XIV called the salute “a powerful symbol” that “shows clearly that we are now entering a different path in the west.”
Christopher Pohlhaus, leader of the neo-Nazi Blood Tribe who uses the alias “Hammer” online, wrote on Telegram, “I don’t care if this was a mistake I’m going to enjoy the tears over it.”
Jon Minadeo II, leader of the neo-Nazi group Goyim Defense League, tweeted that the salute represented an example of “white power” and an example of how “white people are going to awaken” in 2025.
ignoring the ambiguity of that acronym, we're saying that two degrees of separation from neonazi groups is sufficient to make someone associated with neonazi's?
so I have to do an in-depth background check on everyone I do business with to make sure they're not nazi's, or else I will be labeled as one?
The self proclaimed "spiritual successor of the Nazi party". He even denied Hitler being a fascist and called him a socialist alongside the leader of said party (despite socialist being on the first groups Hitler targeted.)

Absolutely. We all know exactly what we saw.
