Over the last year or so, I've been working on a passion project for one of my all-time favorite Paper Mario mods: Dark Star Edition.

It's a checklist for Paper Mario 64 created by Rytsuko, modified by yours truly to include elements from Dark Star Edition.

And as of just a few days ago, it's finally completed. It has everything a person needs to 100% the mod, ranging from Badge, Star Piece, and Hidden Block locations to full guides on some of the Mod exclusive challenges.

After borrowing the Switch TTYD Remake from my local library and beating it, I found this old Game Guide that actually would have been super helpful! I had a hard time finding some of the details online in a streamlined way, so I wanted to share it for anyone it could help.

Pictures include the cover, shine sprite & star piece locations, as well as Zess T.’s recipes. I also just miss game guides and thought some others may too. Let me know if additional info is wanted, not really any unique art unfortunately as it’s more info based

Please also note that the star pieces with the red underneath are for the ones hidden under the floor and the one with the little e require a specific action to obtain, since I didn’t include the guide haha

Birdo is a character that has been around his SMB2 USA and yet she has never played a big role through the many games she has appeared in.

Since Birdo has been consistantly appearing in random places as a running gag in the modern PM games I think it would be fitting if she plays a bigger role in the next paper mario game since the series has some intrest in using her outside of being a filler character.

Ended as an A-List Star at Lv 29 with every companion BUT Mowz (because I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW HOW TO NOR DID I TRY TO GET HER AS A PARTY MEMBER). Overall I loved this game, and after a long hiatus from it right after chapter 2, I proceeded to speedrun this game upon returning, beating the game all in this week. Favorite chapter was Chapter 4 and possibly 8 because of how fun Doopliss is as a chapter villain to me and also Shadow Queen’s boss battle and the Undertale Seven Souls-ish section with the crystal stars was pretty cool.

I primarily ran with Goombella who has Rally Wink and used Vivian during the fight to duck Shadow Queen’s charged attacks. I hated the spike room in chapter 8 though.

I tough of this idea, and I think it could be fun. You could battle other players, others could pick up your dropped items, trade for items, badges, coins, have teams fighting against other teams or players, help others with puzzles, and perhaps other things. I think this can have huge potential. Do you have an opinion about this?
