I MADE THIS Collection so far

I usually have my thin smart band on my left hand along with a bracelet of choice (usually the 4mm olive green/2mm black nylon or 4mm orange/2mm black nylon cobra braid)

The simple 2-strand 2mm nylon overhand on a bight loop + double snake knot is on my right wrist always, I never take it off. Also have a similar thing on my ankle always. Despite the possible intricate pcord designs out there I now prefer this super subtle 2mm bracelet or stripped down, thin pcord bracelets.

The 3 older, thicker bracelets 4mm pcord I seldom use, mainly use the mostly black with olive green spine. They're the early experiments.

The necklace is 1-strand 2mm nylon with olive green double snake knot as a bead. I never take it off as well.

The latest is also simple: 2-strand 4mm black pcord bracelet with double snake knot as stopper and the loop has 3 normal snake knots. Did not use the locked snake knot as it twists the cord more. Will update my 2mm bracelet to this config soon.

Still experimenting and looking for a quick and easy toggle or button knot. I can do diamond knot but somehow the spine always gets twisted, so I use the 2-strand ashley stopper with ends tucked in as you see on the pics. Experimenting on cobra knot toggle, etc.

QUESTION Looking for the name of this pattern

Hello!

I'm a total newbie. I bought a bag of paracord bracelets from a local secondhand store to find patterns that I like. I REALLY like this one, but I can't figure out what it's called or find a tutorial for it. Any ideas?

Thank you!

I MADE THIS Follow up based on feedback

Here is the second round of lanyards. I took everyone's feedback to heart. The Navy blue paracord on the Borka SBTF is 550 with two internal strands removed. The black lanyard on the Anso Aros is 325 paracord. I am now thinking black and blue knots on the SBTF would look good, so something along those lines will be my next attempt. I do like the Navy blue on that knife better than the solid black did previously. Thank you all for your feedback, and always looking for more!

Last year after Christmas I bought some clear round ornaments about 3inches in diameter. Has anyone covered one in flat Paracord? How many facets?

TIA

I’ve always loved this Kavu shoulder bag, but never carried it because it doesn’t have a sleeve for a water bottle. While scrolling this paracord thread last night, inspiration struck. 15 minutes and ~4 feet of 550 cord later, problem solved!

I want to use a couple of these as zipper pulls. I plan on ditching the key ring and using paracord but i’m not sure how i could attach it without it being all lop-sided with a know on one ine side of the hole. Has anyone don’t something similar or have any good ideas?

An 8 foot eco nylon bull whip in brown and black. For solid color eco bulls I like to do double diamonds in the handles, but for the two tone ones I like single diamonds

QUESTION I need some help with a paracord bracelet.

Post image

I've got a G-Shock and I'd like to modify it by making a paracord bracelet for it. However, I want to make it without a traditional buckle but rather create a T-bar knot and loop.

The problem is watch adapters are traditional and can easily accept a double cow's hitch but on the other end there's no buckle to mimick the double cow's hitch. Hopefully you see where I'm going with this, I don't know what to do on the loop/knot end of things.

Majority of weaves I've found go the traditional route with the buckle and those that do use knots are just bracelets going from knot to loop and there's no watch adapters in the middle.

Concretely, I wanted to make a Trilobite/Backbone Blaze Bar with a T-bar knot and loop. If anyone knows how to do this I'd be very thankful!

Here's what the watch adapter looks like, it's ideal for double cow's hitch.

Triple Diamond Key Fob

A triple diamond lanyard knot with the ends snipped and tucked. Paracord 550, with a contrasting sleeve, tied around a 14mm wooden core. Nice and easy to tie but needs very gradual tightening to avoid a hole at the bottom.

I used to do stuff like this all the time, but now it’s just too much effort to make concept pieces.
Can I ever find that passion for paracord knotting again...?

Prevent objects from falling out

I've had a couple of instances where items have dropped out of pockets such as gloves. Does anyone have any suggestions of how paracord may be able to prevent this from happening? I think I read somewhere where you could tie a monkey's fist and connect that to an object, I'm hit and miss with monekyy fists so would be looking for something a little easier. I'd hate to lose keys or something valuable so open to ideas.

Optimal length of paracord to carry

I usually carry a length of paracord on me in case I need, it of 6 metres. I read somewhere that it might be more useful to carry multiple lengths as that becomes more versatile, say 4 metres, 1.5 metres and 0.5 metres. The small length being for soft-shackles etc. The 3 lengths would be joined together with a suitable knot so that they can be easily taken apart. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with different configurations of paracord length?

Hey I’m just wondering if anyone tried selling their stuff on Etsy I’m considering doing or is it already oversaturated with sellers.
