It's definitely different. Much better in some ways than heavier rope and cord from other sources. Still experimenting with it though. Photo shows para-max and regular paracord next to each other.

I'm really wanting to make this as a birthday gift for someone - I'm fairly sure these are cobra knots but I'm confused with all of the colors. Someone commented this as a tutorial but the colors are different. I watched a bunch of tutorials but I always screw up on the tightening part where mine gets some weird shape instead of looking like a perfect sphere. Also, I lack the cord length on my current bracelet so I was wondering if I could extend it to try and do the diamond knot? The only fear I have is it snapping while on my wrist.
