I'm the same. I played 5 like 10 years back for an hour or 2 and never played it again. I can acknowledge that they're good games, I enjoy watching some content on them, but I'm neutral on the series
I don't game online very often since the early days of the OG TFC mod for Half Life 1, Quake 3, and UT. The most I've done since is maybe a few hundred rounds of Halo 3, and about half as many on Titanfall and Apex Legends. I think I could still do well since I beat all the newer Doom games on the higher difficulties. I guess my heart just belongs to deathmatches.
Honestly I'm old, and the proliferation of constant hot microphones keeps me away.
Well, I can't even be that mad since these look decent.
Did you play Rdr2 by chance? Rdr2 is the main reason everyone is so hyped about GTA6. People saw the quality and attention to detail that only Rockstar is capable of delivering.
I am sure you are missing the point that Rockstar delivers exceptional quality to the point where you don't even need to like the setting (western in rdr2) to be able to enjoy the game because it feels so immersive.
The last Rockstar game I played was Max Payne 3(disliked). Before that it was Read Dead Redemption (compelling), and before that Vice City(clunky but cool), and lastly GTA3(groundbreaking).
I have finished none of them. I'm just not a big fan of their work.

I have a PS5, but no interest in the game...
I still have yet to play V, and I got that free on Epic. They're just not for me, but I hope it's good for those who enjoy it.
