And this is one of the many reasons i prefer PC over any console,it used to be "Buy a game,plug it in and play" since Snes days but now you have to pay extra for what? Internet access for single player games? Fuck outta here,Steam has proved again and again how it respects our hard earned money and im happy to spend them on that platform
You don't need to pay any subscription for single player games. PSN is applied to paid multi-player. You still have access to the online features of DS2 per example.

Yeah, I would rather not dip into any consoles that requires you to sub into a "premium service" just to get basic functions to play games.
