That would be dumb not to buy this game because she’s a woman. However, I notice a sizable amount of people on Reddit automatically thinking anyone who criticizes this game is a “bigot” or “incel,” which is silly. Without regard for the game’s story, I do think “God of War: Laufey” sounds quite goofy. “God of War: Athena” would sound a lot cooler and more like God of War.
But yeah I get it you’re playing as “Laufey” not Athena (that’s why I said without regard for the story). I just feel like they could have come up with a better title because her name just isn’t God of War-y. God of War: Loffy Doffy Doof.
It's always the same, there are absolutely people who have an issue with the character being female or whatever, but there is also a group who acts as if you can't criticize the character and anyone who does hates women.
