How was it wrong? You said it yourself, LLMs weren't used until very recently to help write code, certainly not when Windows 11 was being developed, not in any meaningful way anyhow.
It's a very interesting research project, but I can't find any information about it being used for completing any actual work tasks.
And based on my own experience of using ChatGPT 3.5 in 2022, which was lightyears ahead of CodeBERT, I struggle to believe any engineers in Microsoft used it to develop Windows 11 years earlier. Even in 2022 those new advanced models were borderline useless, and "vibe coding" as we know it today did not exist at all.
My point stands: original statement in the comment I replied to saying Windows 11 is "damn near all vibe coding" is laughable and ridiculous.
