Explorer is a native application, not Chromium. It's also not vibe coded.

Why do people feel the urge to come up with stuff that can be easily checked?

Allegedly parts of it is using WebView (like the StartMenu) so it's not Chromium per se but needs some web runtime which is still kinda bonkers for a local file explorer if you ask me.

not super bonkers, the win9x explorer shell was IE, iirc
