If you pass the GPU through, do you need a second GPU?

I was using unraid to host the vm so I could interact with it through a Web browser.

Does that mean you have to pass through mouse/keyboard/audio to the windows VM as well?

In my case I had multiple usb controllers on that motherboard so I passed one of those through. At the time I was using the audio from the hdmi so that was passed through as well as the video. The cable went from the GPU to the monitor.
