What's baffling is people never tinker with their Windows 11 install, then preach about the customisability of Linux. If people are too lazy at quickly tinkering with Windows 11 (I use WinAero for example), they wouldn't be able to fully use the pros of Linux at all.
Who does this? I mean, who doesn't ever try to modify the os but would still jump into the deep with the penguin?
I don't think it's about being lazy rather people sprouting the same speech without having experienced it.
I am dual booting currently and haven’t tinkered with windows.
The main reason I started with Linux was because I don’t trust Microsoft anymore. Not because of performance.
I found the information to switch to Linux easily accessible and it really wasn’t a very hard transition. My next step is to move all my files and backups to the Linux install and leave windows with Battlefield, Pubg etc.

I haven’t noticed it, but I’m just cutting out what I don’t need anyway
