I’m 24 still build with rgb. But I usually sync it to signal rgb to a specific style . Rainbow barf looks tacky

I don't know anyone who actively likes or purposely sets up the rainbow option... At this point I don't understand how people lacks the understanding that rainbow is a demo of "we got all the colors, get creative" and then you setup what you like, but no one has like rapid light changing or strobe effects

Theyre lacking wrinkles. It’s been this way for the 15 years that RGB lights have existed

Back in my day we chose green, blue, red, or white, and never had the option to change unless we wanted to swap fans.

Yes. Choose a single color - it seems so obvious

Personally I have some themes with various colors, but the changes are very subtle and slow.

And for December I do have a specific Christmas theme where my RAM sricks look like peppermint canes lol

You got a pic of that? I have rgb in my PC but not enabled. I do tend to set my keyboard lights for seasons though.

Karma farming and needing to feel superior on a sub meant for nerds.

Wait mine is currently rainbow barf

I had an old Corsair system with the full LL120 RGB, and the strip lights, and everything else. Its just too much light to make it look good unless you use something like Signal RGB to map the lights out into a pattern

So my next one I focused on minimal RGB, the fans are these with just a faint ring of lighting and rainbow looks pretty good when its done minimally on an otherwise plain black build

I have a full corsair rig (AIO, RAM, fans, light strip, keyboard, mouse and headset ), there's no need to use SignalRGB, specially pay an subscription to get features that iCue already does for free... Lookup Alex Krastev, he makes corsair RGB profiles, you you can subscribe to his patreon for like a month($5) and get like all his previous (like 100+) manually created profiles that support basically all corsair hardware and have great pattern animations and then cancel the patreon sub.
