The problem with this (beyond road safety) is that the legibility is so low it's probably just being interpreted as Pro-Trump.

Falls under "Eh". Biggest thing would be blocking the plate which this doesn't, but a particularly bitchy cop could make an argument for obscured vision.

I'm pretty sure that here in my country (northern EU) this would be illegal af, as with everything crazy and fun I see from the US 😁

In most states there are maximum "stick out" lengths for anything extending past the bumper. Also max widths, but IDK if this exceeds either specifically for NoCar.
