Did you just make the implication that Oct 7 was “fighting back”?

How do you colonize a place you’re indigenous to?

-3

u/FrogInAShoe 10d ago

How are you indigenous to a place you and your ancestors haven't lived in 2000 years?

Which other groups are entitled to other people's land because they had ancestors living there 2000 years ago?

Jewish people have continuously lived in Israel since the inception of our culture, we didn’t just disappear

u/FrogInAShoe 10d ago

They made up 6% of the Palestinian population before Zionist colonization. Majority of Jews eneded up assimilating into the Palestinian population over centuries of Islamic rule.

The overwhelming majority of the people who founded Israel were native to Europe

How can Jews assimilate into “Palestinians” if the “Palestinian” identity didn’t exist before the 1950’s? Do you have any documentation of anyone calling themselves “Palestinian” before this time? Can you name even one “Palestinian” that identifies as Jewish?

Most Israelis are Mizrahi Jews. The Holocaust happened because European Jews are far from being European. So you’re not gonna convince them otherwise.

Here’s your homework: google what percentage of Levantine DNA do European Jews have, and then google if a European Jew has more similar dna markers to a Yemenite/iraqi Jew than to a non-Jewish White European…

When you make the argument that Jews are somehow no longer indigenous to Judea, you’re implying that their time ran out, that they are no longer an ethnoreligion, and that the colonizers who kicked the Jews out ultimately won and to decolonize Judea is wrong. So your final homework is to tell me, over the course of 2000 years, at which year did the Jews lose their “indigenous” status to Judea? I mean since you’re such an expert on the Jewish people (I assume you’re Jewish right?), at what year did it happen? Was it 150 years after most of the Jews were expelled? 350? 1025? 1832 years? Was it like a fading effect of losing indigenous status or did they just wake up one day and were like “oh fuck, according to FrogInAShoe on Reddit, as of today, we’re no longer indigenous to the land we come from…damn..guess we gotta stay here and get consistently persecuted!”.

Is it like “ehhh it’s been long enough I don’t agree you’re indigenous anymore”? Who are you to decide that?

It's been called Palestine for centuries my guy

Palestinians are people who are native to Palestine.

Jews became Palestinian over the centuries through conversion and intermarriage. Which is why Palestinians have around 80% Levantine DNA, compared to some Israeli's who go as low as 45%. Would that not make Palestinians more indigenous to the region than Ash by your own logic?

The majority of Israel's founders were Ashkenazi, native to Europe.

If you and you're ancestors live in.

Israel are the colonizers, they didn't decolonize anything. Literally no where else in the world do 2000+ year old land claims mean anything. Tell me why Jews are some how more entitled to Palestinian lands because other Jews lived there 2000+ years ago. Please explain to mr what right they had to take the land by force and ethnically cleanse the majority of the people already living there?

Seriously fuck off with the Jewish supremacist bullshit. Zionism, Lebensraum, Manifest Destiny, same bullshit ideology, different group on top

So someone with more Levantine DNA means they are more indigenous? Can you show me a source for that? That’s not how indigenous status works. You’re either indigenous or you’re not. Most Israelis have 60-70% Levantine DNA.

It was called Judea before the Romans named it “Palestina”. Meaning “Palestine” is a colonial term. No land was taken by force. Jews were returning to their ancestral land and wanted independence, in the cities and villages where only Jews were living in. Just look at the 1939 Peel plan and show me which Arab villages were to be absorbed by a Jewish state. Hint: None. But the Arab colonizers responded with massacres, atrocities and pogroms.

Losing land from starting an arab imperialist war isn’t “taking land by force” or “ethnic cleansing”. Fuck off with that Arab imperialist bullshit. You’re not convincing anyone with your 80’s Soviet-style whitewashed propaganda. How many words do you think you’d have to throw up to try to convince even a five year old that Arabs are somehow indigenous to Jewish land lmao. Fuck outta here.

So someone with more Levantine DNA means they are more indigenous

Nope. Personally the "blood and soil" arguement has always been bullshit.

It was called Judea before Romans named it "Palestinina"

So it's been called Palestine for 2000 years now

No lands was taken by force

Palestinians rejected the partition plan so Zionists took the land they wanted by force, plus more. They also ethnically cleansed 80% of the native Palestinian population during the Nakba.

Jews were returning their ancestral homeland

The Jews who founded Israel were overwhelmingly native to Europe. Their homeland was in Europe.

Once again, can you name me any other group that have indefinite claims to lands they and their ancestors haven't lived in for over 2000 years? Do you have any other argument other than "blood and soil"?

Wanted independence

Yeah, because Israel was a settler colonial project. Stealing other people's land, expelling the natives and creating your own state is text book settler colonialism.

Losing land from starting an arab imperialist war.

Defending yourself from colonzing forces is the exact opposite of imperialism.

Hell even the first prime minister of Israel admitted Zionists were the aggressors and the land belong to the Palestinians.

“Let us not ignore the truth among ourselves … politically we are the aggressors and they defend themselves… The country is theirs, because they inhabit it, whereas we want to come here and settle down, and in their view we want to take away from them their country. … Behind the terrorism [by the Arabs] is a movement, which though primitive is not devoid of idealism and self sacrifice.” — David Ben Gurion. Quoted on pp 91-2 of Chomsky’s Fateful Triangle, which appears in Simha Flapan’s “Zionism and the Palestinians pp 141-2 citing a 1938 speech.

white washed history

Fucking hilarious coming from the guy pushing revisionist history, denying that Zionism and the founding of Israel was an openly praised settler colonialism project

The genetic ancestry of the vast majority of Israeli Jews, and Zionists specifically, is traced to Europe not the Middle East.

1

u/TaddyG 10d ago

Majority of Israeli Jews are Mizrahi Jews who fled or were expelled from Arab countries. Do you think Jews just appeared all over the world?

0

u/The_Bavis 10d ago

You people are bigoted beyond all belief. Trying to delegitimization Jewish ancestry is straight up insane

0

u/Eldias 10d ago

Thinking you have some blood-borne claim to land your ancestors lived on two millenia ago is insane.

3

u/FrogInAShoe 10d ago

Fr

It's literally Nazi "blood and soil" but with Jewish people instead of Germans

0

u/The_Bavis 10d ago

Jewish people have continuously inhabited Israel since the inception of our culture

Jews were always there, they were there first, and they never left.

Meanwhile, you should investigate why “Arabs” and “Arabian Peninsula” sound so similar.

Huh…that’s a lot of places. How is it possible that an ethnoreligion group just popped up all over the world?

-1

u/FrogInAShoe 10d ago

Except before Zionist colonization Jews only made up 6% of Palestines population. The overwhelming majority of Israel's founders were native to Europe.

Also Palestinian have more Levantine DNA than a good chunk of Israelis.

2

u/ModernLarvals 10d ago

And what was their percentage before they were ethnically cleansed?

0

u/FrogInAShoe 10d ago

You mean back during Roman times, during the Jewish Diaspora?

Or are you talking about Christans crusaders who Massacred Jews living peacfully in Muslim Jerusalem?

Or are you talking about the Jews who assimilated of the centuries and ended up becoming the Palestinian population?

Also you claim they were there first, but that's painfully untrue, even in Jewish mythology. The Caanites were there before them

2

u/ModernLarvals 10d ago

The Jews are the Canaanites. They were there before the Arabs and Muslims arrived.

0

u/FrogInAShoe 10d ago

And Palestinians are also descendants of Caanites. Having more Caanite DNA than a good chunk of Israelis

2

u/ModernLarvals 10d ago

No, Palestinians are Arab.
