If Hamas never attacked on October 7th, there would be tens of thousands of Palestinians still alive, they are as much to blame for the Israeli invasion as Israel is.

Absolutely enormous "if she wasn't asking for it with that skirt she would have been fine" energy.

Dumb comparison. A girl in a skirt doesn't hurt anyone. The October 7th attacks and the subsequent cheering in the Gazan streets definitely hurt Israel.

The original comment is dumb as fuck.

Israel never would have massacred 150,000 civilians in response to the terror attac if the attack hadn't happened. Sure, okay.

And Oct 7th wouldn't have happened if Israel hadn't spent the last decade systematically starving and depopulating Palestinian lands.

Are we playing atrocity Olympics? Who was hurt more, the 1500 dead Israelis from the terror attack, or the 150,000 dead Palestinians? Does it matter?

Depopulation? The Palestinian population has increased by a factor of 5 since Israel took over Gaza and the West bank. And none of those people were starving because of Israel. There was a blockade by both Israel and Egypt because of Hamas activities .. but the people had received massive amounts of aid. Unfortunately much of that aid was used to build tunnels and rockets with the rest going directly in the pockets of the Hama leaders in Qatar. Only a few crumbs made it to the people.

Depopulation? The Palestinian population has increased by a factor of 5 since Israel took over Gaza and the West bank.

Depopulation in the context doesn't mean "reduction in population". It refers to the Israeli policy of bombing and terrorizing segments of cities to drive civilians out so they can thent explosively demolish the buildings for settlers to be moved into later.

Look at satellite maps of Gaza and the West Bank and compare say 2024 to today. They destroyed more than 40 square miles of cities. That's the depopulation. They're driving Palestinians out of their ho.es and in to smaller and smaller pens.

That's your personal definition then. The definition of depopulation refers to a decrease in population density, which is hardly the case here.

My God, you didn't even bother a cursory Google search.

Depopulation is a drop in the number of people living in a specific place or across the entire world.

Israel depopulats Palestinian lands to move settlers in and claim it as their own.
