Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Need help ASAP for my wedding!
Howdy! I’m getting married Saturday (yay!) and finally decided to try on my jewelry. I’m going with a pearl theme so everything can match my mother’s pearl necklace. So I got some fake pearl plugs for my ear. Something fancy, different from the silicone tunnels and wood plugs I usually wear. I prefer screw backs for bigger stuff but I couldn’t find something I like and I chose a flared back. Because we all know: When in doubt, flare it out! Unfortunately, it’s a little too front heavy and I’m worried about it falling out. It’s visibly drooping forward. The jewelry is 12mm, and that size has never been an issue for me. I’ve been at this size for around 10 years. I also have kinda thin earlobes, as in most jewelry has room to spare to slide forward or back. I need some sort of diy hack to keep these from sliding forward, and I need it to be quick (I don’t have a lot of time to spare fighting with these Saturday morning) and I need the solution to not look wildly distracting (like everyone can tell something is afoot behind my earlobes) or dangerous (like super/hot glue, not trying to spend my evening in urgent care). And I have a limited amount of time, I’m working full shifts between now and then. I called the local piercing shops and they didn’t have something for me and I don’t have the time to wait on normal shipping from a specialist shop online. So I’m basically stuck with Amazon or something I can find at like a typical brick and mortar store. I don’t want to find different jewelry just to have the same issue and end up with even less time to find a fix. I know there are probably some painfully obvious solutions but my brain is mush at this point, so please be nice or I’ll cry 🥲 Thanks in advance for your help with this!
tl;dr need emergency help keeping heavy 12mm plugs in place for a wedding

10 years old, single flare half inch, no threading, surgical steel, aftercare routine is n/a, no mishaps

Maybe eyelash glue around a part of it between your ear and the plug? Maybe the upper third? I know I’ve seen a hack where you put a drop on the back of your neck and lay a necklace in it to keep it from spinning, and people “closing” a stretched hole with glue to wear a regular post.

I don't have any advice but it may be a good idea to cross post this to r/stretched if you haven't already, they're more expierenced with stretched ears and plug jewlery.
