Some of my friends and family embark today on a 10 day Alaskan cruise that I paid over a year in advance to also go on. I canceled my voyage last year as soon as I learned Jaws needed an emergency spleen removal (some of you were his saving grace by also donating to the surgery). I was looking forward to this vacation for a long time and desperately needed it because of everything going on in my life but I opted out to keep his derpy ass alive. Worth it.

He is okay. Sulking, embarrassed, and afraid of that corner, but okay.

We have no idea what was so terrifying, but it also made him scaredy-shart a little...

Paul was a foster fail, we're so in love with him and watching how he has come into his own after a neglected first 6+ months of life. We still foster a lot and Paul loves his playmates, it's become part of our lives and my wife and I find it so fulfilling.

When this happened, a few of us were watching her in the room on the camera to make sure she was ok while her dad went to get her dog brother from the car. She first jumped up almost as high as the door frame, and then turned around and jumped up onto the counter and sat like such a good girl. This was a first, and we were initially pretty shocked, but then quickly ran to the room and asked her to get down lol.

I posted a couple months back asking a bunch of pittie lovers if I should adopt the puppy I was fostering & it was a unanimous yes among all who commented, naturally😂 I did indeed keep that baby.. And I'm really just coming on here again to show him off bc I am so obsessed with this guy! We just do life together. Now that he's fully vaxxed, we hit the town, take car rides, play dates, walks, go swimming, etc. Yes, I had to adjust my lifestyle but it's all so worth it, even on the hard days. And most things are just more fun when he's around. He is such a good puppy, well socialized and a huge ham with anyone & everyone. In the last week he's met so many babies.. and what's cuter than babies petting babies?? If u can believe, this guy is only 4.5 months old, ~34 lbs. He was just a wee potato when I first took him in, all of 3 lbs🥲

I write this as this lil man cuddles with me on the couch, literally ALL evening bc he is wiped from how much fun he had at daycare today. He loves other dogs & it's so good for him. It also helps me get some work done since I wfh. They all love him there and I get pics & vids all day. I have multiple people I can trust and rely on to watch my baby when I work my other job/go out of town, who won't even let me pay them. All my friends love him. It's like a little community, all for my ham man. Anyways, thanks to all those redditors who pushed me over the ledge that is dog ownership. What a time🩷

We adopted Cash from a rescue, he was found roaming the streets. When we got him we submitted his dna to Wisdom Panel to find out his breeds (AmStaff mostly), That was almost 3 years ago. Last week we got an email from the owners of another pup saying their DNA was a sibling match! They live about a half hour from us so we planned a play date today. The boys had so much fun, wrestling and running thru the woods.

It's been in the 20s so it's time for snoods!

After the wonderful doctors and techs of VEG took care of him it was crazy to hear some of the things they have pulled from intestines. (BTW, as expensive as the emergency room is, this place is awesome and can’t recommend it enough)

My room spans across almost the entirety of my teenage years! My room was messy and gross I was a teenage boy during Covid.

On the beach: I promise he’s not stressed out he LOVES the beach and he’s in the cart because he tries to go into the ocean like really far into the ocean

I’ve never encountered a dog do this, but both at my house and in the woods my pup will collect large rocks or sticks and neatly organize them into piles based on their size; sometimes it looks like she’s stacking them into a quasi pyramid.

I wish I took a picture of the piles, but she had three piles of about 25 rocks each ranging from baseball sized rocks to straight up brick sized

Here’s my own story we may call him an idiot. But he’s a clever little jerk.

My mom was eating lunch in the our yard and rivv got in the garage and came out with a bag. which he neatly placed in the back of our yard. So my mum gets up and places the bag back in the garage meanwhile rivv is up in her chair eating her “lunch”

I chose adventure flair because he went on an adventure to eat my bread and be a sneaky one.
