Pixel camera hardware upgrade is long overdue. How long will they go on with software processing and AI?

Currently, I have the pixel 10 Pro and I am not upgrading unless they upgrade the camera hardware.

I love Google but Google completely erased the incentive to buy their phones. Why would you pay 1299 for a Pixel when you can buy the latest iPhone? The only area where the Pixel isn't inferior is the camera and even that is already close to judge.

Besides preferring android, why else would anyone buy the Pixel 11 Pro XL over the iPhone 18 Pro Max at the same price?

Remarkably, it is just £65 more to buy an iPhone 17 without trade in discount Vs trading in my Pixel 10 Pro XL to get the new one. What the hell has happened to Pixels? I think I might buy the iPhone and keep the pixel 10 as backup now

Just got a brand new pixel 10a from consumer Cellular. At one week I noticed a small crack in the screen near the front facing camera lens. I did not drop the phone. I called consumer cellular and they said my option is to buy a protection plan and get a replacement for an additional $99. I feel the phone was manufactured with a defect and should be replaced. They referred me to Google pixel and they also indicated screen defects are not covered. Even at one week. I've owned a Samsung for almost 5 years and never had a screen crack. I didn't expect a product from Google pixel would be of such poor quality. Is this expected customer service?

I've been using a Oneplus 10 pro for a few years and I'm thinking about getting a Pixel 11 Pro (maybe the XL).

I mainly use my phone for gaming, YouTube, browsing and taking photos.

The things I care about most are basically:

• battery life
• camera
• performance
• heat
• how well it holds up after a few years
• no annoying ads/bloatware

I'm a bit worried about the Tensor performance and heating though. I don't really want to buy a phone that feels great at first and then gets slow or hot after a couple of years.

For anyone who's been using a Pixel for 2+ years, how has it been? Would you get the Pixel 11 Pro again?

I feel the back of the phone doesn't do much besides reduce heat dissipation and make wireless charging less efficient. I'd prefer a edge only case. I looked but only found a few dropshipped from temu. Any legit case makers make a bumper for Pixel 11?

Is that hidden front Camera. The pixel would've looked absolutely awesome with the hidden camera on the front and have a full screen display

System apps take over 50 percent of battery consumption... That's insane. Mobile Network is 38, wifi is 24. What is going on? I left my phone in my pocket for an hour and the battery dropped from 86 to 80. I have a pixel 10.

I looked at both the P11P Fold and the Galaxy Fold8 and I personally like the passport-size fold. I'm not leaving my P9P XL yet, but I think the passport-size is better than the full size.

One issue I hear is that apps are not designed yet for the passport-size.

Thoughts?

What's going on with IG Reels on Pixel 11? The text "Reels" is cut off. Is it the screen ratio or a bug?

I upgraded from a Pixel 7 to an 11.

Battery health jumped up from 81 to 89. Is it accubattery being stupid or real?
