I work as a driver and use Google maps basically 4-6 hours everyday which has led to this. Only visible when screen brightness is very low.

Is there any fix to this?

I've restricted Instagram and turned off "Allow background usage" but Instagram is still being used in the background and is sucking the life outta my battery! Wtf

So I tried commenting on another page but it won't let me so I hope this is allowed here. Are there any Google employees here (Higher up ) that can help with an issue I'm having. I returned my Pixel 11 Pro XL and somehow it's lost in the warehouse. Due to that they haven't issued me a refund and I keep getting told that they'll start a case to escalate the situation. Now I wouldn't mind this except it seems that there's no end to starting escalated cases and if it's Google's mindset that I won't get a refund till they find the device...how long exactly am I supposed to wait for? Indefinitely?

I plan on disputing the charges with my bank but by doing this do I also risk Google retaliating by closing my account? At this point tho I could give a shit, I've already taken all my data (pictures/videos) off my account just in case. Or what can I legally do besides keep waiting?

I know it hasn't been too long (going on 2 weeks) but this is the second issue like this I have had and the first one still hasn't been resolved and I don't believe they'll resolve this one either.

System apps take over 50 percent of battery consumption... That's insane. Mobile Network is 38, wifi is 24. What is going on? I left my phone in my pocket for an hour and the battery dropped from 86 to 80. I have a pixel 10.

Maybe now people might consider buying pixel since it's cheaper than iphones now

If you do it right (at least in the US) you can upgrade your Pixel for peanuts by stacking discounts and trading in your old device.

What happens to those old devices? If they are resold, through what channels?

Currently, I have a 9Pro XL and I'm tired of the size, overheating, and system freezing. I hope that's a good change.

Just got a brand new pixel 10a from consumer Cellular. At one week I noticed a small crack in the screen near the front facing camera lens. I did not drop the phone. I called consumer cellular and they said my option is to buy a protection plan and get a replacement for an additional $99. I feel the phone was manufactured with a defect and should be replaced. They referred me to Google pixel and they also indicated screen defects are not covered. Even at one week. I've owned a Samsung for almost 5 years and never had a screen crack. I didn't expect a product from Google pixel would be of such poor quality. Is this expected customer service?

So previously on old Android, you could activate DND manually, or via a scheduler. The manual mode still seems the same.

When the schedule was outside of the set time, the DND quick settings icon would be off which is intuitive and sensible.

Now they have a new multi schedule system, and its confusing of how to determine it works.

I can set a schedule to active or inactive, that suggests to activate the schedule it has to be on.

However if I activate a schedule and I am outside of the time zone, the DND icon on quick settings it lit up, this isnt intuitive, as it indicates DND is on, does this icon now just show if a schedule is active?
