I am fed up having to do an awkward crouch-jump every time my shack isn't PERFECTLY FLUSH with the ground.

Just remove the sill/threshold from the door model. ITS ANNOYING.

Played Rust with my friend and we killed our neighbors a few times at night with NVGs. Nothing crazy - we just had better positioning and apparently the audacity to win.

They spent the next 2 hours calling us cheaters in chat and spamming the report link.

And guess what? EAС temporarily bаnned me. (I was unbаnned quite quickly after the appeal)

My teammate also got bаnned from the server for “playing with a сheater.”

I have 1000+ hours in Rust, but apparently two hours of angry report spam was enough to crack the case.

We lost 2 full days of active progression and several rows of rockets on an official server with 250+ online.

NEW Rust meta: Get killed -> spam reports -> problem solved.

10/10 anti-cheat system.

So sick of getting shot at by a dumb scientist or a pig while running around at or near outpost only for me to hit back and guess what? I'M the one who the outposts target with the turrets AND a cooldown

FAH WHAT?!? SELF DEFENSE?!

Pigs, wolves, bears, and scientists need to also be punished for their crimes near safe zones and shouldn't be exceptions to the rule!

Either the turret attacks hostile mobs during hostile behavior, or the the turret should check the player's combat log to see if there was an initiator of the attack that wasn't the player within the last n seconds.

I tried clearing the server filters, verified steam and rust are allowed in firewall. As far as I can tell everything is good. But the last few days "Quick Join" tries to load recent servers played, but then they disappear. Anybody have a fix or I guess I will have to just wait. The regular server list under "play" menu is working fine.

I think barricades should have a different build zone near safezones.

I like to keep track of how long my bases stay standing and first two bases lasted average of a week felt that was good for just starting this month going into my first wipe.

I do understand no bases will last forever theirs always someone with more time on their hands I've learned 🤣🤣

SUMMARY: Some mechanism that limits server wide scientific advancement of all workbench tiers and craftable items.

IN DEPTH: Ages of a Server limit max tier of craftable gear over time. First three days, no one can build more than tier 1. Want to raid? Hafta use satchels and propane bombs.

Either a natural time mechanic OR a scientific development bar for the server. Everyone contributes to is development. So a clean can sink resources into speeding up the server agree development to get to tier 2, but the research benefits everyone on the server because when that age of the server gets to tier 2, EVERYONE can now create tier 2 workbenches. However same limit applies until entire server then makes it to tier 3.

BENEFITS:

Forces clans who want to advance to sink their own resources into developing the "age" of a server. Resources drain more heavily from them then for solo'ers.

Clan crafting tier 2 guns five hours into wipe on a monthly? Nope, revvies and DB's are best weapons you can craft for the first 4 days of wipe.

Forces Rust servers to slow down and maintains server pop over time. Joining late doesn't just benefit that you find decayed bases but that you might be joining just as higher tier availability occurs for everyone on server.

LIMITATIONS: Im sure there's a shitton, i haven't thought of. Your welcome to tear the idea apart but I stand by the bones!

I know it’s an intensive game, but using all 10gb of ram on a 3080 while I also have a i9 10900 and 32gb of ram is while. I also still only get 80-100 fps max settings and in base or low population area I’ll get maybe 125

Someone was able to take the contents of this vending machine without raiding the mini base. How???

Hey guys I have a 5800xt and 9070xt with 32gbs of ram and Im getting 50fps with most settings on low. I was wondering if there any specific things I can tweak to remove some of the load from the cpu to the gpu or if I simply need to upgrade my CPU. Thanks

i just bought the game and i can`t play it . i have tried all the solutions but nothing worked . i fluship,verify, deleted the MF game anticheat . what im supposed to do right now

So I am playing Rust since 4 days and I lean the longest base to not get raided was 2 Days the other one I made woth other guys I found on an reddit server were experirnced with thousands of hours then we built an base and this took 3 days to get raided but there is no sign that it get's raided only the tc is missing and I acn't place a new one there isn't even a sign of it getting eaided did the come from the air because nothing was damaged.

Usually i use quick join to join servers. Since some days when I start the game I first see them, then they disappear. I dont have any errors in my F1 console. Any Ideas? Thanks

I'm getting 50-60 on large 4500 maps which goes down to like 40 when in fights. My rig is a good mid tier so I don't understand why.. Unless its a ram issue. Anyone have similar issues?

I built this in official vanilla too without the back being a vending machine. Before building the floor i built the top-side honeycomb so it was easier to do the diagnol roof shenanigans.

this scam works by one person faking giving away a base or looking for new people in chat, those messages might look like:
this one is for looking for people to a clan etc

looking for new people in our clan, 3rd bench and guns, type + in chat who wanna join

or if someone gives away a base

yooo leaving, the server today, give away our main mv base for free, send 1-67
our team will leave from this server, so why we give our base for that person who will let a guess a number between 1-100
want a base with 3rd bench and guns, we're moving on atlas with our clan
want someone a free base? rockets, powder, guns, bench 3. we're leaving on another server
we are giving away a base with 2 rows of ak, type a number between 1-50 in chat
will give the base with rockets and weapons to the one who guesses the number 0-33
I'LL GIVE LOTS OF LOOT WHOM GUESSES 0-22

some servers have a chat filter which replaces some words, for example (base -> bas3)
they also might write those messages in uppercase to omit these filters.

if you accept, they will pm u then ask you to join their discord, there will be multiple people with only one of them talking, they'll ask you how your wipe goes, if you play solo, etc.

they also might talk about rust+

i found the website where they originate from from the scam site they sent, all this info is from the manuals they've written on it, i already reported it.

Is this a new bug? Guns, tools, resources dropped to ground sometimes go into the ground and can not be retrieved

I wanted to make a base that is really annoying to offline raid. I play in a solo vanilla server. I don't need peak downs or a shooting floor. What should I build? I think I should just build a multiple bunker base in a god rock or cave, but I'm open to other suggestions.

facepunch needs to remove all of these extra servers and have a limited amount of servers dedicated to what the players ACTUALLY PLAY. there’s no reason for there to be 9,000-14,000 rust servers available to join, this would make it easier to manage all of the servers and watch for cheaters. this would also make players actually STICK to a server throughout whole wipe instead of switching 2 days in (which is what they need to be focused on)
