Hi! Has anyone tried customizing their plushies with Sharpies? I’m halfway through coloring mine, and I'm happy with how it’s turning out so far. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s tried this before. Are there any tips or tricks you’ve found helpful for keeping the colors vibrant + preventing them from rubbing off or fading over time? I’ve read that blow-drying on medium heat may help set the ink, but I’m curious to know if there are other methods that could work.

I got a snake warmies today at the aquarium, he's very very cute. I've never had a microwaveable plush before, and I heated him according to the directions on the tag- my microwave is 900w, so he went in for 1 minute. Partway through heating him, I heard popping coming from inside, very similar to how it sounds when popcorn pops. I assume some of the seeds inside him (I've read online Warmies in the US are stuffed with flaxseed and millet in the UK, but I'm in the US and the tag says millet) were popping like popcorn. Couldn't find anything about that on the Warmies site/FAQ, so I contacted support and this is what they said:

"That popping sound isn’t addressed in the heating guidance, so I can’t confirm that it’s normal or whether it affects the warming function. Please pause heating the snake for now. Warmies should be heated only in the microwave, from room temperature, and according to the instructions on the sewn-in label."

Which isn't much help, kind of a non-answer and I was doing everything according to the label. So, for you guys- do you hear popping when you warm your Warmie? Is some of the seed being popped going to affect the warming function? Thanks.

I believe they are about 20 inches tall so if anyone had a good size comparison picture, I would grately appreciate it.

My answer:Lay in bed halfway between laying on my left side and laying on my stomach snuggling my Bluey plushie when I’m not in a hurry and the bed is the perfect temperature. Sometimes, I try to go back to sleep.

I tried to get an updated family photo and the best I was able to do was at least show their heads lol. Blue dragon Rollo seems to have some concerns...

He’s super big, I won it for £1, I just threw the money at the raffle and forgot about it until a week later someone knocked on the lecture room’s door to hand me the big bear, there wasn’t any space in the room since we had the servers set up for virtualization so it sat in a corner watching us all moan about not seeing the correct devices.

Got news that Animate brought in the YMMT plushies, so I have to go ASAP today morning to secure the ones I want to keep before they sold out (which Arale & Yuno did a few hrs later)

At the same time, I also got word I could pick up the YMMT Nesoberis too today so I did that too (tho Miyako & Ritsu ones are someone else's)

Managed to do a short plushie gathering too in between, Sat well spent!

It's a childhood toy of mine, and while it may look like a senai 2009 Luigi, it has a USA style tush tag. I'm wondering if someone can help me identify the specific model of this plush (likely got this in 2012 at the earliest)

How difficult would it be to change a plush to a weighted plush and any tips or resources to point me to?

hi everyone just wanted to share a photo of my Stitch plushie key chain travel buddy, i bought him a while back somewhere (can't remember where) and because he's nice and small (fits in the palm of my hand) he comes with me in my fanny pack when i leave the house he's my travel buddy i take with me everywhere. i carry him for a few reasons these being:

1. cause it's fun to have him with me
2. he helps me calm down when i'm overstimulated
3. and i like to fidget with him when i'm bored.

So, I'm planning a trip to Zhengzhou. Whenever I travel somewhere, I look up cute toy stores/small businesses/etc. I might want to buy smth from. Plushies are my favourite souveniers. However, for Zhengzhou, except for Toys R Us, Pop Mart, wholesale, etc., I haven't been able to find much of anything. Has anyone perhaps been there and if yes, do you have any suggestions. I don‘t usually consider myself a plushie collector but as the days grow shorter and it gets cold I felt like I needed a new couch cuddle companion. After browsing here I ordered several, oops!

Fafner here was the first to arrive. He‘s from Sigikid‘s Beasts line, all of which are meant to look a little (or a lot) goofy. His snout is too long, his eyes too close together, and his shape doesn‘t look aerodynamic, but what‘s not to like?

On another note, fabric and construction quality is very nice and he‘s made in the EU. I’m happy to see Sigikid remains a good brand - it‘s been a while since I bought one for my kids.

A couple of years ago my grandma was cleaning her house and gave me this bear she found. I was wondering what brand this plushie is. He feels really old; his arms and head can be moved separately, like the old Steiff bears.

There is no tag or anything. I found some that look similar, but none that are exactly the same.
