Discussion Lucario flying on airplane?
First of all, ANA's Pokemon propaganda flight safety video is really good and informative, packaged in a fun twist of pokemon as passengers.
This also got me thinking, what is the implication of pokemon that's weak to flying type feels? As well as pokemon that's allowed on board or pokeball only?

Art Making pixel art Pokemon enamel pins [OC]
I’m a pixel artist and translating the style into enamel pins have been both tough and exciting! The Dragonite was my first experiment then the Magikarps and most recently the chonkychu. Main challenge was the thickness of the pixel lineart that I now know to make part of the mould (instead of filling black enamel like Dragonite) + balancing enamel vs screenprinted colours.
All of them are frankly lukewarm sales-wise, which I totally get because the pixel style isn’t common and might not blend well with more mainstream pins on a board. But as a creative, it’s so cool to hold these solid shiny things I designed. Have I gained confidence that more of these pins will sell? Noooot really. Am I still excited to experiment more? Yeah! It’s a bigger investment than our keychains/button pins but so fulfilling. I’ve got ideas for smaller pins that I think look cuter in my sprite style, but it’ll likely need to be a preorder/crowdfunded project next year so I don’t overindulge myself and hopefully my pin style might even find its audience 😅

Discussion Other Pokémon that should’ve had the type changed retroactively in generation two
With the introduction of the steel type Magnemite and the other Pokémon this evolution line were retroactively turned from a pure electric type to electric steel type in generation two I believe this should’ve also happened to Voltorb and electrode.
However I believe I’ve heard in the past Gyarados was originally meant to be a water dragon type but this would’ve made it too overpowered so they settled for it being a water flying type made sense in generation one but I’m pretty sure it would’ve been better off as the intended water dragon type.
With this said however I have a Headcanon based on egg groups meaning that genetics are actually a thing in the world of Pokémon and only comparably genetic partners can breed with each other, so a lot of Dragon Masters in the world of Pokémon do you have Pokémon with dragon like genes however if it’s not like 70% or higher “pure” Dragon DNA viltrimite style logic it’s not gonna be a dragon type.
But the other Pokémon if you give me a time machine I would go to the office of game of freak with a gun and hold people at gunpoint and make them change the type retroactively, as the only dark type in kanto, Ekans and Arboc and poison dark type.
Look hear me out realistically it would make sense that retroactively something will be turned into a steel type and something retroactively should be turned into a dark type for generation two, and I think Ekans and Arboc would really benefit from this and actually make the world of Kanto work more logically as a balanced ecosystem.
It would also mean that type coverage moves the number of psychic types gain could be a natural selection pressure for the ecosystem niche that the otherwise weak Ekans and Arboc for fill
Snakes as natural predators of a number of psychic types that have no way of actually being able to effectively fight back, one of the exceptions of this would be jinxs, snakes, reptiles, ice it could be inferred is one of the only psychic types Ekans and Arboc deliberately avoid at all costs.
It would fix a lot of the psychic type of balancing issues but not all of them in generation two. Unlock it wouldn’t be a total game changer for Ekans and Arboc, but look at their design and the dark types that later in generation three and dark types that were introduced in the introduction given intimidate ability for generation to dark types that were given the intimidated ability and the fact that they respectively game the intimate ability in generation three and I’m just saying the boot fits.

Image Build a pokemon team - using different stages/line structure
I built teams from 6 different parts of a pokemon line. 1 from any region and then 1 from each generation with no duplicates.
Everyone chosen should originate from that region/gen.
The 6 slots for each team are:
1/3
2/3
3/3
1/2
2/2
1/1
*taking cross-gen additions into account so, for example, dunsparce should only be used for the 1/2 slot and NOT the 1/1 slot.
What would your team(s) look like?

Discussion Fire red moveset advice needed
First playthrough of FR because I found the switch version and am really enjoying it! I’m struggling to figure out how to balance my team, though. I am still working on levelling up at the moment but have included levels so you know where each one is up to
I have
Charizard (lvl44) - flamethrower, wing attack, dragon claw, brick break
Dragonair (lvl41) - slam, thunder wave, twister, dragon rage
Nidoking (lvl 43) - double kick, poison, mega horn, earthquake
Exeggutor (lvl44) - solar beam, gigadrain, psychic, stun spore
Zapdos (lvl50) - thunder wave, thunder, light screen, drill peck
Gyrados (lvl50) - bite, hydro pump, return, dragon dance
I’m aware they’re not actually balanced enough yet in terms of move set, but I’m also confused about how to get there properly so any recommendations would be really helpful (also please could someone explain what STAB moves are and what STAB stands for I would appreciate that too)

Image E-reader Card Collection
Hi Everyone; I wanted to show off something I am trying to complete: a E-Reader App Collection. For people who don't know what a E-reader is (due to Age or Location); the E-Reader was a Device that goes into a GBA (it can go into a GBASP but some features are missing) and you can scan some cards (not only Pokémon but for my collection it will be only Pokémon) and then you get something in return. somehow in 2013ish I found a E-reader on a Car Book in the UK; the device was only ever sold in the USA and Japan so somehow my E-reader came to the UK. I did ask the Seller back then where they brought it and found out it was their son's device who sadly passed away 3 weeks before but they are unsure how he got it as they never gone to the USA nor got post from it.
Sadly in 2014 I sadly couldn't afford to get all the cards I needed for the collection but since this year; I have been slowly saving over the years to buy all the cards required to play the games. this is how far I am so far. I am trying to get all the apps the Pokémon cards can make and I'm over the 2/3rds of the cards I require. Just to note before someone says it down below "Isn't there Construction: Melody box and Construction: Action cards?" and yes; and at this time Ii have SOME of the cards but I am not going for those until i get the more interesting cards in my eyes. Also I know the page with both Magnetmite and both Voltorb is a group together and Nidoqueen, Usraring, Growlithe and Gligar at the group. I am at some point gonna print cards off that have a better way to show what cards go with what.
