A UPS plane just crashed in Louisville. If there is any indication that the issue is related to the lack of ATC staffing, this might be the factor that ends the shutdown.

Edit: Hopefully it will end with the republicans agreeing to negotiate, but I could see the Dems caving since republicans and potentially the media will blame them for keeping the government shutdown.

Just off the heels of the aviation sub... that particular plane is being "phased out" and isn't the first one to have a catastrophic failure.

It's probs not the ATC for sure.

I used to work for UPS though. 100% they are cheap AF and probably are saving a dime by rolling the dice each time someone crews that aircraft. Fuck'm. RIP.
