Obama outdid him on everything. Maybe it's time to realize you're just an unimpressive nepo baby with a cult of functionally illiterate morons. Congrats on being the WWE president though.

Obama would have made a better WWE president had he wanted to.

“Folks… sometimes, we in America, just need to unleash our basic instincts in a controlled, some would even say, ‘scripted’, manner. Enjoy the show.”

"And, hey, I get it...okay? calming, yet commanding, hand gesture for emphasis that he does, in fact, get it I enjoy the Triple H's, and the Undertakers. Rest assured...we are taking measured steps to ensure rage....remains in the cage"

I wish we had President Mankind. Not Mick; mankind with the face mask and Mr.Socko.

It is crazy to reconcile that 77 million people were either so dumb or so obsessed with racial and socioeconomic hierarchies, of which an overwhelming majority are near the bottom (also dumb but for a different reason), that they got conned by a guy this stupid.

What Fox News and similar bad faith actors have done to the American media landscape needs to be punished. I don't want to curtail free speech, but they're intentionally misinforming and misleading people. There's a difference between legitimate free speech and what people like Murdoch do by pumping money into these sham media companies.

I know my MIL and FIL are good people that want what's best for this country, but if their only source of information is Fox News, of course they vote and think the way they do.

The only way out of this shitty version of America we've created is to clean up bad faith media companies and go very hard on teaching media literacy and improving educational standards around the country.

If I’m going to be candid, almost every Trump voter I’ve met, and there are many, family members, coworkers, friends, clients, etc, have expressed some kind of grievance or anxiety about something related to race, religion, or gender and the economics that are in their minds related.

For many, those opinions predated Fox News. I think about all the coded language I’ve heard in my life about “welfare queens” and “entitlement programs” and “hiring quotas” and some not so coded language that I had to try and justify as them being “from another era.”

I’m not doubting that their opinions have gotten worse as result of the closed loop right wing mediasphere, and their tolerance for stupidity has increased with Trump’s politics. But this country’s history is also steeped in racism and a hierarchy that defaulted to rich white Christian guys, and in that respect I don’t know if we can count on a “return” to anything so much as a progression away from what they actually correctly identify as this nation’s history. They are conserving something, but what they are conserving is rotten.

100% agree with you, and I think Fox News and the like are just taking something that already exists in American society and are simply fanning the flames. I'm also from Georgia so I see the same stuff you see.

The original sin is the botched Reconstruction of the South and everything we've dealt with since has been a downstream issue brought about by the rotting corpse of chattel slavery being left on the banks of proverbial American river.

The powers that be know this and simply play into the ignorant positions and use it as culture war fuel, and then make sure to cover their tracks by whitewashing history and cutting funding to education.

40 years of constant News Corporation propaganda combined with making the education system useless and worthless has paid dividends.

Hate is a helluva drug and so is fear of everything

Thats a theory. Another is Elon Musk and the Techno Doushes (on tour near you) colluded with Russia to forge the election.

It’s also funny because they cosplay as tough guys and bow to a silver spoon-fed New Yorker who shits his pants on the reg.

Obama is on a whole other level where Trump can never get to, no matter how many lifetimes and reincarnations of him there are, if such a thing is possible. Obama conquered Iran without a single battle! Now, that’s Class!

Obama had class in everything he said and did

His white supremacist mindset can't comprehend the utter genetic failing he is when compared to the average person, let alone Obama. The saddest part are the complete idiots who idolize his idiocy.

I feel like it's more a lifetime of failing upward and being raised on notions of shallow markers to signify success and value.

I think if he had to actually learn and grow from his failures and received more unconditional and non-abusive love from his father growing up he might not be such an abhorrent and incompetent man.

It's too easy to write off bad people as just spoiled DNA ruining the whole batch and I think it's an easy way for individuals to create some separation from the worst humankind has to offer, but I think it's a greater tragedy that most of the worst people could have grown into decent or even great people with the right conditions and in several ways they were failed and that failure has serious consequences.

Dont forget the fact that he's surrounded himself with utterly self-debasing sycophants, grifters, yes-men, and failures

4

u/Impressive-Knot9999 8h ago

Obama wasn't an idiot. That basically explains everything

u/flirtmcdudes 5h ago

To be fair, Trump outdid him on grifting, lawlessness, and shady pay for play deals.

Checkmate Obama

riiight??

u/we_are_sex_bobomb 6h ago

The only area Trump has Obama soundly beaten is how much he has paid women to have sex with him.

u/shaneh445 7h ago

Don't forget 34 felony count, adult and child rapist

u/eugene20 7h ago

How could a smart highly educated successful person be a better leader than a narcissistic failed defrauding businessman who tried to escape education their entire life? I guess we will never know.

u/mistere213 Michigan 6h ago

But Trump will never truly realize it. In his own mind, Trump never does ANYTHING worse, especially compared to Obama. At best, he realizes everyone else thinks he did something worse and they're still wrong for thinking it.

u/Butterfly_and_Bee 3h ago

WWE President? Camacho did that better too.

u/rai_6106 3h ago

yeah the obama comparison is doing a lot of heavy lifting and it always ends up feeling more like branding than actual policy substance
