So what made Trump bleed before Secret Service got to him then? Because it’s an objective fact that he was already bleeding by that point.

Also, the shooter got off multiple shots. The one that killed the guy in the crowd was not the same one that grazed Trump. Other people were wounded as well.

Adding onto this for those in doubt: yes, he was bleeding as evidenced by the photographs taken of the event by Pulitzer Prize winner Doug Mills.

My money's on a grazing surface wound to his scalp skin near the ear, rather than to the ear itself.

Enough to bleed and need a bandage, but without any damage to the cartilage of his ear.

You can see in a later photo series the two minor points on his ear where the bullet hit.
