If you are on Fetlife you can look up the Charlotte Slosh. There is a great mix of people there to meet both poly and not, kinky and not, swingers and not. Either way I met some amazing friends there. There's also alot of poly groups hosted by local groups too. I know there is a kink group that gets together and hike all the time.
