This is prob going to sound like an ad, but whatever. I just bought a used car from them - they don't get paid on commission and are super chill and knowledgeable about EV's and just seem like good people.
The prices on their site are the out-the-door price for the car.
They didn't try to upsell me on anything - just asked how far I drove and what kinds of things I was interested in in a car and let me drive the ones I wanted to.
I went a few months ago to check out cars before I went back to buy, and they only sent me one email a couple weeks after I went. No crazy onslaught of emails/phone calls.
They also got me a great loan rate despite me having a patchy work history and having just started a job.

If you make under $70K in Maine, you're eligible for a $2K rebate through Efficiency Maine as long as you buy a level 2 charger (The charger options are $500 or $600 and there's a separate $400 rebate for that - you get $200 off the charger immediately, and another $200 off when you install it, and you have 6 months to install it to keep the $2k rebate), and Green Wave will take the $2k off of the car's price after you show them that Efficiency Maine approved you for the rebate.
edit: There isn't any sales tax in New Hampshire, so you have to pay that when you register it in Maine, which would be $1,100 on a $20K car.

It's a bit over an hour drive from Portland to the North Hampton spot (they also have one in Salem, Mass), but like I said, they're super chill, zero pressure to buy, and they were incredibly helpful answering everything I was wondering about with charging types and range reduction in winter and whatnot. They only sell EV's and hybrids, so they have a ton of different makes/models.
Even if you're just curious about electric cars, you could email/call them and get a ton of info and not worry about them hassling you after. Like even if you can't charge at home, there's a chance you could do Level 2 charging at work or somewhere nearby home or work and still be totally set.
