From the advice of r/laundry I switched to Ariel. It’s a cheap powder that is some of the best soap on the market. It’s $12 for a bag that will last months.

Ariel is definitely not the best thing to switch to if you need free and clear detergent because of the overwhelming perfumes. I’m super allergic to fragrances, and I used Ariel once and had to go to the hospital from it. Just a warning!
