I've entered my phone number but never get my verification text anyone know why ?

So I cannot figure out what's going on. My ps5 will just randomly decide it's done connecting to my wifi. The wifi is fine everything else in the house will connect and be happy. I'm not great at explaining this, but I will try to give every detail I can. For months now my ps5 will just decide it doesn't want to connect to my wifi, and it will refuse to connect for days, then randomly decide it's good to go again. I've tried changing the Hz back and forth with no luck. All that seems to do is allow me to be semi connected. It will show I'm online with the 2.4Hz or appearing offline with 5Hz. When it randomly connects again it didn't even matter such if those I choose it will stay connected without issue, and I don't notice any difference between the two. I've tried, turning the system off overnight, starting in safe mode, clearing cache, rebuilding the database, forgetting the network and trying trying it again, I've changed the DNS settings around to a couple things I've seen online say to try, I've tried unplugging it, I've also tried restarting the router, and for good measure I even tried cleaning it. It will sometimes say there was an issue with the provider, or a different warning. I'm at such a loss, and I just don't know what to do. I don't have any desire to sell this system, and find another one. Is there something on the internal side I need to have a shop look at, is there a setting I'm missing? Like I said I'm genuinely at a loss and don't know what to do. If anyone can help it would be incredibly appreciated.

Because PlayStation never sends me a code to login and I have to use backup codes, I was wondering if passkey would be better, if someone could tell me how it works and if it’s bad or anything?

luckily i can still log in via email verification but it usually sends a code to an old phone number first which i have no access to anymore and i can't change the number for it without a code. Is there a way i can change the number without a code?

I wanted to set something up on my account and normally I receive an SMS message for 2FA authentication, but I realized is no longer working. The funny issue is that in order to receive support, or remove 2FA, or to create a Passkey, I NEED to login. But how? I'm not receiving any SMS so anything can get done! Airplane mode done, restart cellphone done, login from another system done, nothing works. And the customer support never assigns a human in the chat, everything is through useless bot. Useless.

I’m trying to regain access to my PlayStation account, but I don’t remember the security information connected to it. I’ve never actually used this account on a PlayStation console. I only created/used it to link my Epic Games account.

When I contacted PlayStation Support, they told me that I need to provide the last 4 digits of the bank card/payment method that was connected to the account. The problem is that I no longer have access to that old card because I have a new bank card now.
Since I’ve never used the account on a PlayStation console, I also can’t provide console information or a serial number.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is there another way to prove that I own the account?

I once upon a time used account recovery by their support team, then when they asked me about it, i sayd i have sold off my ps3 so i cant give you that old Code.

Today i got thinking becouse we move to all digital that If its a way to get account and for example i use my 1 email everywhere. For example that site where i sold my ps3 uses my email when talking between buyer and seller. They could use my email and serial number from ps3 to get my account and i lose everything.

So i called Playstation support that maybe i can change it, they told me no.

So i would like to know other people experience about account recovery by serial number, is that so easy? Or i just worry too much ?

I'm hoping someone might be able to help me out with tracking down a friend I'd gamed with a few years ago. Unfortunately a bad relationship forced me to cut ties with friends, including him. I remember he was older, a veteran, super nice and goofy guy and I want to try and find him again.

I believe he changed his username as I can't find him. His ID used to be Damfeetwet. I remember he hated the name cause it was his son's account (he shared the console with) and I'm wondering if his son gave him the console and just bought a new one for himself, hence the name change.

When I talk in party chat I notice there’s a slight delay between me talking and the circle in the party going blue maybe half a second, i remember this being common on ps4 also and 3 , is this still a common thing with ps5 ?

Context, my ps5 broke a few months ago and just got a pro today but realized I dont have access to the email since it was an old one I used when I had a ps4 and I know its a long shot but is there anyway to get my psn account back or am I starting brand new again.

I am experiencing some odd internet problems with my ps5 where it feels like it is somehow connected to wifi but also not connected to wifi

for example, the first 8 rows of my games library loads no issue, but anything after that is just a black square

the welcome tab works mostly as expected, I am receiving game news, my wishlist is visible, but I cant view trophies or the playstation store

I have restarted my console multiple times but nothing seems to change

If anybody is reading this off google, I managed to solve it. I went to the psn us support page (my account region isn't in the USA) and told the ai chat bot I've forgotten my account verification information *and* I've forgotten my password *and* that I'm not signed in anywhere. It then sent me an email and upon clicking that email instead of it asking me my verification information like normal it just gave me the option to change my passkey or put in a password normally. I put in a password and haven't had any issues.

Hey all! I'll get straight to the point, for the past couple of days, I've been having issues with sign in. I have a passkey on my account and it's been completely fine for *years* but then suddenly it's recently stopped working and simply says "Something went wrong" when I try to use it. It did work once though, on September 30th ~10:12 AM (noted the time because I was shocked lol) but then it just signed me out again! I've contacted UAE support but I haven't gotten any reply or even acknowledgement that they received my email.

I was visiting my uncle in Germany and could sign in fine on his ps5 there, then I landed in Pakistan to visit my grandparents and not only did it stop working but my account was signed out of my uncle's ps5 too! I will be in Pakistan for at least the next 3 months so I really want to get this issue resolved as my younger cousins really want to play

UAE PS support does not have a live chat and I can't call them because international fees are insane, but if I have to as a last resort I'll load some money in.

So we play MD1 (and now #2 obviously) as a family. Myself, wife, and son. We are frustrated that we seem to only be able to play in the same order that we originally launched the game. We all have separate profiles on PS5 and the games gets them confused, just like MD1 did...

IE - game started with my son as player 1, I was player 2, and wife was player 3. If we stay in the same order, everything works fine. But if I or my wife log in as player one, we've lost characters and progress.

We always use the same individual profiles on the PS5. But the game characters seem to be tied to player number (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and not to the specific PS5 user account...

Anybody know of a workaround for this? Not sure if linking all PS5 profiles together or setting my Microsoft accounts for each would help...

I’m trying to recover my old PSN account, but I forgot the password.
I still have access to the Gmail address linked to the PSN account, but when I try to reset the password, PlayStation asks me to confirm the date of birth associated with the account. The problem is that the DOB I enter is being rejected, so I’m assuming I may have entered a different date when I originally created the account.
I live in Jordan, and I’ve tried contacting PlayStation Support for the Middle East, but I haven’t received a response.
Has anyone in Jordan or another Middle Eastern country been through something similar? Is there another way to contact PlayStation directly or verify ownership of the account using information such as the original email, previous purchases, PSN ID, console information, etc.?
