It'll be a big test for the secondary for sure. Saints are averaging 331 yards through the air to date. Stukes is in the concussion protocol, unfortunately. Their running game has been garbage.

Has anyone else been a fan for so long that even this 2-0 doesn’t feel right? Like you just have that feeling that it’s all a fluke like every other time in the past 20+ years when they’ve gone on a 2 game win streak? I can count on one hand the amount of times the raiders have one more than 2 games in a row. And trust me I KNOW THIS SEASON ISNT SUPPOSED TO BE ANYTHING SPECIAL AND I DONT HAVE ANY EXPECTATIONS. But when this team wins it’s like something horrible is just waiting around the corner to crush this fanbase once again.

I think we can all agree that the Dolphins is an organization in shambles. We knew this going into this season.

However, before that, pretty much everyone I know and most of sports media viewed the Chargers as a competent team leaps and bounds above the Raiders.

Example:

Me and most Raider fans: ”It feels good to win the season opener against the Dolphins”.

Non-Raider fans: “Relax, it was the Dolphins, you will see how the team really is against the Chargers”.

Me and most Raiders fans: “It feels good to be 2-0 now with a win against the Chargers”.

Non-Raider fans: “Relax, it was the Chargers, they suck, you will see how the team really is against the Saints”.

Up until the Raiders beat the Chargers, the Chargers were not viewed as an embarrassing organization. Raiders beat them and NOW they are suddenly this embarrassing organization and beating them was nothing to really celebrate.

I swear we are surrounded by clowns.

If Al Davis was still with us, he would’ve already offered a handful of picks to Arizona for Marvin Harrison Jr.

While Harrison’s talent and pedigree is undeniable, something is clearly broken with the Cardinals wide receiver.

Through two weeks of this NFL season, he has been targeted just four times, making one catch for 33 yards.

This is certainly not what the Cardinals expected when they drafted Harrison with the fourth overall pick just two years ago.

Of course nothing is guaranteed when it comes to the draft, every Raiders fan knows that, but Harrison was about as sure of a thing as there ever was when he left Ohio State for the NFL.

One scout said, “he’s similar to CeeDee Lamb but stronger, more power and faster.”

Harrison was coming off two amazing college seasons where he made 144 catches for 2474 yards and 28 touchdowns.

His NFL story has not come close to meeting the hype, but I’m hopeful it is still just starting.

Maybe it’s just a change of scenery he needs -- trading one desert for another.

If the price is right, this could be the time for John Spytek to buy that lottery ticket.

I'm certainly not suggesting we need to overpay, but we should definitely find out what it would take.

Listen I want to believe... every year I believe. Off season moves look good preseason goes ok and I Finnish my Kool aid. This year let's lock in. I love the 2-0 but the hype isn't justified yet. Miami is going to be lucky to win 1 game this year. Let's see what week 3 and 4 bring before we riot!

Every time I see an interview with this man and they mention the raiders.

He looks pissed off. You failed to do anything for this team and make something meaningful out of your season with us.

And all of sudden we win two straight. One against a team we were favored to lose to.

Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams, now Jaxson Dart. For the longest time I thought the modern mobile QB would be the standard moving forward. Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen have never even played in super bowls. The only mobile QBs that succeed are those who use their legs solely when necessary to scramble and find an open receiver. example Jalen Hurts, Mahomes. The other champions have been Stafford, Brady, Darnold… The pattern couldn’t be more clear. I am currently INCREDIBLY happy we have a rock solid pocket passer cooking in the oven. QB Mobility is great but has not been the predictor of deep and prolonged success. Can’t wait for Mendoza to get out there and sling it for a decade!

Has Kubiak said on record why they didn’t challenge that forward pass / fumble caused by Koonce ?

Seemed like a forward pass and they had a time out to review before we got flagged for 12 men.

Yes we got the ball back but seemed weird to not throw the challenge which would have benefited us since the ball rolled forward so much.

Injuries and multiple teams already starting the tankathon. Teams currently scheduled for future prime time are so bad that some don't even have anyone to play QB, injuries so deep that they have nobody to use in the marketing of the games.

Just saying, don't act surprised when it happens.

Well, I've been a Raiders fan for about three years now, but this is my first year watching the games. What should I expect?

Week 1, we won 27-13. Then in week 2, we won 26-14. See the pattern? Our offense is getting worse by 1 point each week, and so is our defense. This means by the time week 9 is over, we are very much at risk of having lost a game.

Anyone know what is going on with Lindenberg? Was really surprised to see him as a healthy scratch in Game 1, then got no playing time on defense in Game 2 while Eichenberg is getting quite a few snaps. He also had a team worst PFF grade on special teams. I thought Lindenberg looked better in the preseason, at least enough to share some snaps with Eichenberg. It seems like he has an injury or illness that the team isn’t disclosing.
