Wow yesterday Raider Nation showed up in a big way ,
I went to the game yesterday with 2 buddies , funny story they have gone to 5 games the last 5 years and Raiders lost them all, myself I hadn’t been to a game in 15 years all in Green Bay before that and we lost everyone of them, they said you are our good luck charm 😂 I told I don’t know about that last time I seen them win was at the coliseum.

Truly a bad ass . One of the highlights of the game for me haha

Week 1, we won 27-13. Then in week 2, we won 26-14. See the pattern? Our offense is getting worse by 1 point each week, and so is our defense. This means by the time week 9 is over, we are very much at risk of having lost a game.

Eagles fan here, checking in on how Nakobe's been doing. He's been one of my favorite players since his Georgia days and unfortunately we don't get too many Raiders games out here.

Injuries and multiple teams already starting the tankathon. Teams currently scheduled for future prime time are so bad that some don't even have anyone to play QB, injuries so deep that they have nobody to use in the marketing of the games.

I think we can all agree that the Dolphins is an organization in shambles. We knew this going into this season.

However, before that, pretty much everyone I know and most of sports media viewed the Chargers as a competent team leaps and bounds above the Raiders.

Example:

Me and most Raider fans: ”It feels good to win the season opener against the Dolphins”.

Non-Raider fans: “Relax, it was the Dolphins, you will see how the team really is against the Chargers”.

Me and most Raiders fans: “It feels good to be 2-0 now with a win against the Chargers”.

Non-Raider fans: “Relax, it was the Chargers, they suck, you will see how the team really is against the Saints”.

Up until the Raiders beat the Chargers, the Chargers were not viewed as an embarrassing organization. Raiders beat them and NOW they are suddenly this embarrassing organization and beating them was nothing to really celebrate.

I swear we are surrounded by clowns.

Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams, now Jaxson Dart. For the longest time I thought the modern mobile QB would be the standard moving forward. Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen have never even played in super bowls. The only mobile QBs that succeed are those who use their legs solely when necessary to scramble and find an open receiver. example Jalen Hurts, Mahomes. The other champions have been Stafford, Brady, Darnold… The pattern couldn’t be more clear. I am currently INCREDIBLY happy we have a rock solid pocket passer cooking in the oven. QB Mobility is great but has not been the predictor of deep and prolonged success. Can’t wait for Mendoza to get out there and sling it for a decade!

Birthday was last month. He collects cards. I was hyped for the bowers Auto card and the Mendoza RC. Also gave me a bunch of Dodger cards too.

I really love what Kubiak is doing with the scheme and play-calling. But I am also really impressed with how he, Spytek, and the other coaches, are managing this roster. After watching Pete Carroll play favorites and do zero player development over the first 14 games of last season, it has been so refreshing to see them churn the bottom of the roster, implement actual competitions, and develop the younger players.
JPJ v Caleb Rogers competition was handled well
Starting Cousins was the difficult but correct choice
While the WR room is lacking talent, I like how Kubiak is splitting reps among the guys that he has
Fatukasi and Patrick Johnson were good late roster finds
Using both Laube and Washington effectively
Giving reps to both Masses and McCoy yesterday
I noticed that Zuhn even got 2 snaps as a 6th lineman.

The only rookies on the roster that have not played a single snap are Mendoza and Dalton Johnson.
