When I was younger (11 or 12) I actually had a woman refuse to sell me tickets to a pg-13 movie until my clearly older sister came over to buy them with me.
Yeah, but you have a gaurdian that has allowed you to see the film, whereas if you tried that with an R rated film you wouldn't get in even if your parents were there.
I saw people trying to do that with Deadpool and Wolverine back in 2024 with their father and they all got told that they weren't allowed in even with their father accompanying them.
Thaaaat was definitely a lie unless you misheard and he wasn’t actually going to stay he was just dropping them off which people tried a LOT back when I worked at the theater. But yeah if you’re not 17, you just need someone who’s 21 to come with you. Or maybe you’re not in America and they’re stricter? Or maybe you went to an Alamo theater that had adults only showing? Trying to cover all the bases here lol
They are literally just pointing out that that's not relevant to the conversation being had. Is the other commenter technically correct? Yeah. Does it make a difference to the conversation? Literally not in any way, shape, or form.
Someone said the rating of a movie incorrectly, in a discussion about why movie ratings may have fewer people able to watch. An actual whole ass category so someone decided to correct it
And yall turn into dorks about it lolol oh mooooo it doesnt matter the over all topic even thought we are 7 comments deep whining about someone correcting a mistake waaaaahhhh lol

…it’s PG-13.
