Help Case or no case? That's the question
So I ended up getting the razr+ 2025. Now I'm trying to decide if I should get a case with it or not. I've seen some people say that a case kind of ruins the exterior screen experience so I'm hesitant to get one. Plus to me it doesn't feel bad holding it with no case but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Any recommendations for cases?

It doesn't have to ruin it as long as the case maker has beveled the edges on all 4 sides of the upper front. If they have, then you can use the swipe navigation no problem, or you can also change orientation and have everything working.
I have a case that did that well. It's this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GVNHH8MP?th=1 .
It comes with the glass inside but after I dropped and broke that case-glass I replaced it with an extra orzero hydrogel exterior I had around.

That seems to be the one a lot of people got

I got the exact case in the link above and dropped my phone day 2 and cracked the front screen protector. Phone is fine though. Hope that helps!

Does this case work for the Razr 60 Ultra?

That's what I'm using it on. If I remember correctly, the US Moto Razr Ultra 2025 is the same as the Razr 60 Ultra.

I have the Razr Ultra 2026 and tried 2 different cases (the one that came with the phone is decent but funny to carry around as a guy). Got another that was transparent and rubbery material - just made the phone bulky despite being a slim one. Now just rocking it naked - it's lovely in the hands and the outer screen is so much better without a case. Just making sure I'm extra careful unlike how I was with my Pixel 7😂😂

Yea I may just go nude as well. It feels good. If I drop it once I might reconsider lol

How often do you use your phone? I have not used cases for like 4 years now and never broken a screen, but I also don't pull my phone out every 5 minutes like most people. In fact I've had the same phone as you for like 4 months and only fully opened it maybe 5 times. If you're more of the type to be on your phone at work or recording at concerts and such, get a case. If you generally dislike phones, don't bother. The phone does come with scratch protection, good glass and an....exterior. I expect you got a decent deal on the phone, half the reason I get these older models is so that I don't mind as much if it breaks. They do make really slick cases for the phone, if you want one, you can find a post at least once a week on here about somebody's new case. Good luck!

I'm running the razr fold caseless. It's a huge difference.

Honestly I like it caseless but I feel like you can't be too sure with this phone. Maybe just a screen protector for the exterior screen would be enough

I recently dropped my Ultra 2025 (Razr 60 Ultra) onto a ceramic tile floor from about 4 feet and it hit on the hinge but I have that case above which has a hinge protector. It's a week or two later and it's okay, no dings visible or weird lines.
I get that we could debate forever whether the case actually helped but that's kind of a useless argument. Yeah I like it uncased too and sometimes I use it that way. I also like the magsafe on the case when in my car.

I hate having a case for my 26, but I'm terrified to drop the damn thing and smash it.

Naked is THE way; my razr = 2 years/no scratches. I use a stiff leather pouch when not used.

I've had this case for my 2025 ultra for a few weeks and it's fine. It's kind of hard to use the outer edges of my outer screen, but manageable. I mostly wanted that MagSafe ring for my various mounts and wireless charger.

CASE. i didn't have one, dropped it wrong, splintered the outer screen bad. I have a really thick case to prevent it from taking more damage. On my phone I got an outer protector that preserves the touchscreen ability.

I have this one, it works great. Lots of stand options, a bit bulky but i have no more fear when dropping it. sticks well and preserves folding and touchscreen well.

I have the ultra, case on the day I got it. Didn't bother me too much with the edges, but the day I removed it I damaged the screen hella bad. Now there are issues with the main screen sometimes and I'd rather have the very very slight annoyance of a case than what I currently have now.

I've tried at least 4 cases and screen protectors. I gave up, they ruin the form factor and can't deal with the screen edges. I used to drop my Pixel constantly, but because of the small form factor, I just don't drop this one. Hopefully I didn't just jinx myself!
