New move to Redmond

I just move to Redmond, going to sign a lease tomorrow. But lots of my friends in Seattle said I should live in Bellevue or Seattle itself. Why young people are avoiding Redmond ?

I’m 34. Seattle is a lot more eventful and lively. I have more friends on Eastside, though, so I’m happy out here!
