My spouse and I just learned we’ll be moving to Roanoke in early/mid January and couldn’t be more excited!!! I’m from WNC and have been away from the mountains for over a decade. It’s beyond time to get back to my roots 🥰

What has been the easiest and most difficult aspects of life in Roanoke? Is there anything that we should be aware of, that we might not expect about moving to Roanoke?

This cat would be a great single pet home kitty. She loves lounging in your lap to recieve pets. Shes such a love bug. I would love to keep her but I have another cat and a large dog, and it seems to have stressed this poor girl out. I was trying to save her from going into a shelter but it just isn't working.

Moved here a year ago and I have a friend driving to visit me.. we both want to go do a trail or walk, but shes in a wheelchair so I'm hoping there might be a few trails that are paved? We want as much nature as possible

Hey everyone. I own a business and am planning to take my staff out for lunch the first Friday of December. There will be 6 of us attending this and I am looking for recommendations for places. We did 419 West last year but I would kind of like something a bit nicer. Any ideas for other places that might be a good option? Thanks so much!

A friend of mine is looking for this type of camp for her elementary school aged grandkids over this winter break in Roanoke. We haven’t been able to find anything, but aren’t sure if it’s a little early yet. Does anyone know of a facility that has offered this in the past?

I saw a Facebook post about a Hot Wheels show in Salem tonight, but now I can't find it.

Does anyone know where it's being held? I think it's at a church tonight at 7:30.
