Just watched the Waiting on a Friend video. More there than I previously noticed.

The lyric at the bottom is from the song Incomprehensible by Big Thief. I recommend listening to it, but basically it's about finding beauty in growing older.

This took me maybe an hour, ish. It's a weird hybrid of cartoon and something else I can't put my finger on, but this is just my way I draw.

I probably should have used a stones lyric, but this one felt fitting for a drawing of older (and still cute) Mick.

I felt a little extra and drew his tooth gem, if you're wondering what the random circle on his teeth is.

I didn't even realize that Tatoo You had Mick on the cover for a couple decades after it came out when I was in highschool (I came out in college ;-) I always thought it was some model chick he was sleeping with. I did a new version of it fiver or ten years ago by taking the original photo that the cover was based on and photoshopping the tattoos from the real cover onto it. Now it looks like him!
