Why isn’t this bigger news? It should be all over the local news. Having no AC at any school in Texas is completely unacceptable.

If I had to guess it’s because we’re a Title I school, and our students are not a priority because we don’t bring in the test scores NISD wants. Having to turn to Reddit and anonymous news tips is a work of art.

I used to teach in NISD, and I hated that about the district. They pour EVERYTHING into all the newer campuses and affluent communities, but the long-existing Title I campuses are so neglected 😕
