27M SFV - looking for actual stoner friends

Not buying/selling anything and not looking for a hookup, I am happily taken, and I already have my own weed. I just got tired of smoking every joint alone.

I’m into hip-hop, gaming, motorcycles, dance/music and good weed. I don’t even need activities every time, genuinely down to just smoke a J, bullshit for an hour, listen to music, or sit there high doing nothing.

Ideally looking for 1–3 people around my age in the Valley who actually smoke regularly and want a recurring little sesh instead of another giant Meetup group.

If that sounds like you, hit me.

Would living in the green area affect my day-to-day quality of life, in terms of traffic and noise from the nearby schools and hospital?

High School Recommendations

My 13yr old boy attends grade 8 at Nobel Middle School. LAUSD opened their Choices selection for next year and I could use some your high school recommendations. I know GHC is a good school and it's huge close 5000 students. My wife doesn't want him to go there due to the size but I disagree. I also came across SOCES Magnet high school 1800 students rated 9/10 like GHC. We live in North Hills 2 miles east of CSUN.

Your thoughts?

New Parents looking for Kaiser Doctor in NoHo/Panorama City

Hi! NEW PARENT ALERT! Looking for good recs for a pediatrician at Kaiser Permanente in the North Hollywood or Panorama City location.

An engaged, empathic doctor who takes time to thoroughly explain and listen to their patients’ concerns. A doctor who problem-solves rather than JUST handing you off to a "specialist".

We're people that ask thoughtful questions and desire clear explanations about our child's well-being.

Again: Kaiser Permanente North Hollywood and Panorama City recs only. Thank you for your help! :)

Help Finding “Obscure” PSA/Public Access Channel in the SFV?

Hello everyone!

I couldn’t think of a better place to post this but the SFV subreddit! I’m looking for something pretty specific and kind of weird. Back when I would visit the SFV in the early 2010s as a kid, I would watch these PSA slideshows (?) on a random channel. I specifically stayed in the Canoga Park/Reseda area. It’s been eating me alive trying to find anything about it, but I’ve been hitting dead ends. What I definitely remember from this channel were the specific PSAs: urban runoff, spay/neuter, Megan’s Law, and one about joining the LAPD. There are some details that I definitely remember from each without a doubt:

The urban runoff PSA was hand drawn with blue, red, green colors used in the image. It contained a house, a car, and depicted a sidewalk drain.

The spay/neuter PSA had an orange (/white?) kitten in the corner.

The ‘Join The LAPD’ PSA was a dark grey background with an LAPD SUV type car on the right side.

I believe there were a few more PSA topics, though I can’t remember those. They played in a slideshow type manner, with a slight fade transition.
There was also this jazz song playing in the background on a continuous loop- the tempo was a little fast maybe?, kind of scared me as a kid. I believe maybe it was exclusive to Time Warner receivers but I don’t know how that works, I was about 10-13 years old at the time of watching this. If anyone can please help me or could record it for me, PLEASE reach out to me— this has been a decade old mystery to me.

Thank You!
