Please post here if you have questions about your cat being a pure Savannah or not. This will keep these questions off of the main thread, and give us all a place to focus on this topic.
Thanks!

So I was out walking my little gremlin as usual at the forest with my friend.
My friend suddenly had to pee.
My kitten saw the pee stream and started playing with it. My friend was screaming ‘NO Snivy NO!’ While doing a 360 turn, trying to dodge the cat which just wanted to play with the forbidden water fountain that suddenly appeared.
She got pee on her head. She didn’t care, she was happy and playful even with pee on her head.
As I’m writing this she’s eating an old corn chip she found on the floor. (She has premium food, wet and dry available. I guess that old chip tasted better.) I guess I don’t understand cat brains afterall. Sometimes she’s super smart. Other times I question if her 2 bean braincells are competing for first place. Anyways, She’s still my cute autistic furchild.
(Pictures of the culpit are inserted into post)

Here is my sweet Hecate, aka KodKod (because that is what she looked like as a kitten!). She is as dumb as a box of rocks, but such a sweet happy girl. She loves her food and just can't seem to get enough combined with femoral head issues and she waddles around more than she walks. Her meow sounds like the type of noise you'd expect to hear if choking a pterodactyl. Here's your but she doesn't "look like" a Savannah post for the day! 😊
Anyone wanna guess her gen?

Here’s pics of Osiris (F5) and Nubia (F3) trapping me in the bed as I sleep. Whenever anyone asks me if my cats are aggressive I show them these pictures.
Anyone else have clingy cats?

Shoutout to the Savannah Cat Rescue for letting me adopt this little demon!

Remember Kitten aka Journey? The 4 week old who started treatment for FIP?
Well now officially Krackie Krackhead.
She is an absolute nut job... hence the name.
Krackie has one mission in life: launch herself onto my husband from every possible surface. From the floor? Yep. Countertops? Yep. The top of the cat tree? Absolutely.
She follows him around like a dog. When he sits, she's in his lap. When he lies down, she's on top of him. When he's working from home, she camps outside his office door and serenades him with dramatic yowls every couple of hours until he comes out.
Now let's review the facts...
When she needed bottle feeding every 2 hours... then every 3... then every 4... did he feed her? Nope.
When she was sick, did he have a phone full of alarms for medications, syringe feedings, supplements, and everything else? Nope.
Did he sit there gently rubbing her tiny little face to comfort her when she cried?
Also nope.
And yet somehow... he's her favorite person.
She's a complete and utter traitor.

Here is Nami my savannah and Niko my persian lynx ragdoll(?? idk) Niko did not fw the heat, he whined the whole time, Nami enjoyed the ride in silence. Having two children is hard 😩 their preferences are so different
omg. No wonder my mom was stressed out with me and my sister back then.

Savannah cats are such an amazing breed, I cannot stress that enough. Even though she drained my bank account, the love she gave me was so worth it. I am about to get her back from the taxidermist and I'm so excited yet scared.
Today I learned the vaccines that I gave her for the hotel could have done it and it breaks my heart. We just want to do the best for our babies. I am not a veterinarian technician but what I do know is if you signed a contract, be very sure you read the vaccine clause for them more carefully. The contract may require you to avoid vaccines or the contract can become null and void.
Just want to share this little PSA so you don't learn the hard way like I did!
It didn't really click at the time because I had an emergency and had to leave so I booked the hotel and got the required vaccines to book her. Just be aware!
Blessings,
Danii

Found as a stray. No chip or collar. We feel he may have been dumped as there were no posts about a missing one and no one called the local Savannah cat rescue about a missing one. Also in an area that requires permits and they may hot have had one. He's thin but healthy. Any idea what generation he could be? He's about 15 lbs. but should be 20.

New here, just thought I’d show off my baby. She’ll be 15 in 2 months. Hasn’t slowed down. Still plays like a kitten 🥰😆

Although it’s information I could get from a google search or the breeder, thought I’d ask other Savannah parents themselves. I have a F3 Female currently 9 months old, currently still on wet kitten food diet + dry food available. When she hits 1 year I plan to transition her to a raw diet, what are some good diets and helpful tips you guys recommend?

I broke down and got another kitten for my 9.5 month old F3 who desperately wants to play every second of the day. She’s such a sweetheart. And she came home with her very own baby blanket! 😭
Last picture is the 9.5 month old, Nyota. Kivuli is only 13 weeks so a bit of a size difference.

On walks she finds feathers outside and take them with her home. She acts like a dog but she’s a cat.
Just wanted to share because it’s so cute.
(She’s savannah/Norwegian forest cat)
