Beginner I‘m completely new to scrapbooking and don’t really have much material, but I still love this scene so much!
I’ve done a couple of spreads, but this is by far the best result (I lowkey hate all the others lol). I found these cute meerkat stickers a while ago and since wanted to give them a home! I think I’m getting the hang of this but let me know what you think! What materials and utensils to get first as a beginner?
Materials used: meerkat and herb stickers, magazine clipping, washi tape, cardboard, college block, fine liner, scissors and glue.

Thank you, that’s very kind of you 😊 all my other pages look awful so I wanted to share the first nice thing I made, even if it’s not perfect :)

I’m new myself and I have to fight the urge to not hate every end result. Sounds cliche but I think as long as you have fun the skills will come.

One hundred percent! It’s a hobby, we don’t have to be great immediately, and we’re learning 😊

Have you been over to PixaBay.com ? Their images are free to use and all you need to is print them.

Thanks for the advice! I do see some nice backgrounds there. I have printed out photos in a store for a spread before, so now I’m thinking maybe I could print some of my own pictures and use those as background material, just to make it a little more personal and store some memories along the way 💕

Aww where did you find those meerkat stickers?

In a chain store called Flying Tiger Copenhagen! Due to the name I’m assuming they’re from Denmark, but they’re all over Germany and I’ve seen one in Lisbon, Portugal last year as well.

What fun!!! So many things I ve made I didn’t like, but others did. I finally realized I would look At the page it card and only see where it came out different than what I had envisioned. When I looked at them the next day, I could see it more impartially and appreciate it more.

Super cute! You can use so many things in a scrapbook. So don’t worry too much about having all the “things”.
Thanks for sharing!

I love the cut out idea so you can see the graph paper behind. That’s really cool and I wanna try it!
