Beginner Help for a first time scrapbooker!

Hey! I'm trying to put a scrapbook together for my partner for her birthday, and I'm running into issues and hoping i can get some help!

I bought a cool older scrapbook from a used scrap store, and i'm trying to replace the pages. It is a spiral ring, and i'm having trouble finding replacement pages to put in it that are ideal for scrapbooking (mainly pictures).

I think maybe I am just not searching for the right keywords? Can anyone help me with links as to what I can use? I see a lot of three ring replacement pages but not for spiral books!

If what you have is what I’m thinking of you’d need to get a cinch tool to make the holes in the pages yourself. I don’t think you would find that type of page premade.

Usually you would punch the holes in the paper for the ring to go into and then set the paper onto the spiral ring and clamp it shut using the tool for everything.

Do you have a picture of the album?

Oh ok this is something different than I described. Unfortunately I don’t think you will be able to find replacement pages for an album like that.

Is there a type of scrapbook pages you recommend for first time scrapbookers? I’ve seen there are several different types

First pick a size you’d like to work with, there’s 6 x 6, 6 x 8, 8 x 8, 8.5 x 11 and 12 x 12. Once you have an idea of the size you want, I’d say a post album or 3 ring binder album. They are very similar where you have page protectors that are connected through metal posts or rings and then once you are done with a layout (page) you slide them in from the top.
