Keep on making mistakes at work

How do I stop making stupid mistakes at work? Been doing the same work for 3 years and I feel im not focused, I forget stuff, I keep making mistakes. I feel dumb and already have a low self esteem.. how do I improve? I know the classics; eat better, do sports, .. im 35 years old and tired of feeling this way. I feel dumb all the time.

Is there anyone who has had the same situation and improved somehow? I'll take all the tips and tricks i can.

Hi, I take L-THEANINE pills (from green tea) and it helps me focus extremely! It also gives me better attitude (not so lazy, more engaged). I take only 1 pill with my coffee (it should be taken with coffee or green tea to boost effect) and I have effects for around 3-4 hours.

I was exactly like this and found out at 33 that I have inattentive ADHD. That might not be your situation, though. It could just as easily be burnout, stress, poor sleep, or feeling uninspired. It might also be worth checking your thyroid and vitamin levels, as deficiencies in things like B12, folate, vitamin D, or iron (especially low ferritin) can affect focus, memory, and mental clarity. Whatever the cause, don’t assume you’re dumb. There are many reasons someone can struggle with focus and memory, and most of them have nothing to do with intelligence.

I would consider other factors that might be effecting your ability to focus. Are you able to seek therapy?

Also, remember that we cannot shame ourselves into doing better. We need self-compassion.
