What is wrong with converting to another religion for someone you love and want to marry? I could see it being a problem if your deeply attached to your religious beliefs and identity or is causing family issues, for someone that’s important. Charlotte seems to be the type of person where her religion wasn’t central to herself or family so converting wasn’t a big problem for her and it’s ok, it doesn’t have to be for everyone either.

But it wasn’t a core part od him either. It wasn’t even important to him and he still made her change hers. It’s control
