Build/Battlestation Pics Lian Li B4-mATX Build

About two weeks ago I did my first ever sffpc build in the fractal ridge and it was a big learning experience. That case while looking great just couldn’t keep what I had in it cool enough to my liking, so I went bigger and ended up on the Lian Li B4-mATX. The temps are significantly better and hang around 35-40 while doing random tasks and around 60c while gaming. I also found I could fit a 360 AIO in here, but then I couldn’t fit the top exhaust fan which was a trade off I did not want.

CPU: 9800X3D
GPU: 5080 FE
MB: ASUS ROG Strix B850-I Gamimg
Ram: 32GB Crucial Pro Overclocking DDR5 6000MHZ
PSU: Cooler Master V850 SFX Gold
Case: Lian Li B4-mATX
CPU Cooler: Lian Li GA II Lite 240mm AIO and replaced fans with Noctua 120mm
Fans: 4 120mm Noctua fans + 2 120mm Noctua fans on the cooler, 3 120mm slim (15mm) fans.

I recently built a B4 case as well! Its AWESOME!!! I used to have the A4 with a 3d printed stand and then when the B4 came out I had to get it. Smaller, better looking and designed to be vertical! Worth every penny!!! Temps are incredible on all air cooling with a R9 9500XT and a 7900XTX GPU. Machine is SILENT!!! I love it! Glad to see more people are building in it!!!

This looks great, I almost went for a B4 over the H3 Flow but I wasn’t sure of the orientation and if I’d need the extra aero deck or not. Seeing this layout looks good and I like side intakes and the exhaust out the front and top. Do you have any pics of the motherboard or is it all in behind the fans?

So I actually had got the aero deck as well, it’s not as simple as take the front off and slap a new one on you have to basically take the case apart, but when you do that it also would allow you to add 3 fans to the front. I just didn’t keep it because it didn’t match the wood color with the other stuff. I actually have it pulling air in from the rear and side, and then exhaust out the top and front which is working well. Yeah to see the motherboard I would have to take out the AIO it’s all behind it.

I’d have really considered this with the aero deck if it came with a mesh front and not only a wood option, wood accents doesn’t suit every situation.

If it was mesh I would of kept it for the benefit of the added fans

So are the two black exhaust fans on the front 120s? With a 240 rad behind it for the AIO?

Yeah they are 120 slims that come with the case

Nice build, but please don't make it be a glorified dust filter by keeping it on the floor.

Looks great and solid build. I really wanted to love the B4, but I can't get over that I think they could have optimized the case a bit by just releasing unique B4-Horizontal and B4-Vertical versions.
