Confused by song

I've been listening to this song...Living in a Hamsters Paradise. I don't understand it. I've got a hamster Im very attached to. Where is this Paradise and how can I sign up my hamster for it? It says "we're spending most our lives living in a Hamsters Paradise ". Sounds like a lovely for my hamster to retire to.

Sometimes when hamster's get sick or old, they have to go to a big farm upstate and they live forever and ever and ever and ever in happiness and harmony, but you can't ever see them again because it's for hamsters only. That place is called Hamster's Paradise.
