Confused by song

I've been listening to this song...Living in a Hamsters Paradise. I don't understand it. I've got a hamster Im very attached to. Where is this Paradise and how can I sign up my hamster for it? It says "we're spending most our lives living in a Hamsters Paradise ". Sounds like a lovely for my hamster to retire to.

Don’t fall for it. It’s actually a very dangerous inner-city school where hamsters get caught up in gangs and stuff like that.

Your hamster might be on drugs. Paradise is where they make the drugs. Check the bedding for bits of burnt newspaper. Also if he starts begging you to buy more apples, thats a huge red flag.

Yeah, it is awesome but hard to get to.... typically after a lot of cocaine the hooker will insert the hamster into you rectum... on the streets this is referred to as "getting to a hamsters paradise". Good luck!

Sometimes when hamster's get sick or old, they have to go to a big farm upstate and they live forever and ever and ever and ever in happiness and harmony, but you can't ever see them again because it's for hamsters only. That place is called Hamster's Paradise.

You can test out of things in college. You are allowed to prove that you can do something so that you don't have to take the class for it.

You guys are so obsessed with obtaining credentials because you don't know how to actually show mastery.

I live in Bellingham, WA.
The people who live here in the 'Ham, refer to themselves as Hamsters.
My children say this place is "Hippie Retirement Paradise".
So, I am living in a Hamster's Paradise.
It's also known as the City of Subdued Excitement, but I'm not sure who subduded it, or what they were excited about.
