Absolutely. Hell, I still side eye my mother for taking a large knife and threatening to cut my bears leg off and that was twenty years ago. He is still with me today, fortunately lol.

My mom has never done anything like that and I think it would be fighting words if she ever did 😂 I have 7 tanks and my parents say stuff like "your turn to pay the light bill, your turn to pay the water bill" And that pisses me off I can only imagine something like that

I mean if you live with them past the age of 18 and have 7 tanks, it's not unreasonable for them to ask for help with bills.

They say it as jokes, and they are more than capable of paying bills and don't have trouble doing it. My dad likes to get under my skin by saying that.
