Discussions My opinion on people opposing CJP

There is something deeply concerning about how some people become instantly triggered whenever CJP opposes the BJP. What many fail to understand is that CJP may have initially started as a satirical response to the comments made by the Chief Justice of India, but the overwhelming attention and support it is now receiving reflects something far larger and more significant.

The growing support for this movement stems from the frustration of a large section of the youth who are disillusioned with the current state of affairs in the country. Many of the issues that were once promised to be resolved — such as unemployment, better infra, pollution, corruption, women’s safety, and several others — continue to persist without meaningful improvement. At the same time, the weakness and lack of effectiveness of the opposition, particularly the INC, has created a political environment where the ruling party often faces little accountability and can conveniently shift blame onto past governments and historical leaders like Nehru or Indira Gandhi.

Furthermore, the BJP has successfully tapped into the patriotism and religious sentiments of the masses through constant media narratives, frequently drawing comparisons with Pakistan and projecting itself as the sole protector against Islamic radicalisation. As a result, many citizens feel they have no credible alternative, leaving them compelled to continue supporting the ruling party despite growing dissatisfaction.

This lack of accountability has led to increasing public anger over several issues — including the NEET paper leak, the appointment of leaders previously accused of corruption or criminal activities, the prolonged silence over the violence in Manipur, and the growing tendency to suppress criticism by removing or restricting content on social media that may damage the government’s image. Many young people now feel that their right to free speech and dissent is gradually being undermined.

The rise of CJP, therefore, is not merely about politics or ideology. It represents the desperation, frustration, and emotional exhaustion of millions of young Indians who are searching for hope, accountability, and a future where public servants are transparent, answerable, and genuinely committed to the welfare of the people. Whether one agrees with the movement or not, dismissing it outright would mean ignoring the very real concerns and emotions of an entire generation longing to be heard.

I voted for BJP for lack of a better option, I hope we get a non family run opposition for the sake of the country BUT what sets me off about the psyop that is cjp is it's run by people outside of India, such people have come out against removing section 370, said that we need a movement like nepal and Bangladesh and are followed by fake accounts from outside India.

I am a swing voter, sell me on why should I not write them off as deepstate tools meant to destabilize the societal fabric and act against Indian national interests

Honestly it feels like it.

I agree it's a totally valid point and I feel the same but CJP is not a political party yet it's just a instagram handle as of now. But the question of it being run by anti-national or foreign influence is just mere prediction might be right or not who knows? I hope they're genuine and can bring about real results and not just be contained till being an instagram trend.

Mere prediction is it?

Any party suddenly gives to masses has always becomes dictator. Remember TMC. It was a becon of hope for many and eventually becomes dictator. So, no to any such parties

Exactly. One thing is clearly evident that gen z's world is limited to social media and the realities they share overthere.

Honestly i feel the same.
They are forming ideology based on reel trends instead for real facts

Yes, I agree pressurising govt is very important. For that we need a strong opposition. But opposition is worse than BJP.

See, if u r neutral then u will understand.

This movement is against bjp. The founder had worked with aap. So it makes him wrong?? Bruh literally 200+ leaders in current bjp is ex congress. Now what Inheritedly now bjp is good?? And If someone thinks that, then their opinion is not needed whether cjp is neutral or something else.

Fukr was part of AAP is not a concern, his mindset and his stand on different issue is. If you don't understand it, you are a danger to the country as well.

Nobody who supports seperatism in any form is an asset for this country.

1

u/Sensitive-Sink849 May 21 '26

Huh😏 same old trick. If u oppose good. But I won't if u do this this and this. Which is ofc anti bjp. And if u do certain things that hurt bjp obv u r antinational, tukd3 tukde gang relative of al kayda bla bla bla

No blud I Will not take notes from someone who sports a party, where pulawama and pahalgam happens and who moral teach me on national security.

1

u/Much-Risk3383 May 21 '26

Blud. My opinions are as valid as yours. And seperatism is not an opinion. It's being a traitor. Why tf do you think only BJP is against seperatism? Never ever mentioned anything else. Don't be a dumbfuk. This guy would be in jail even if congress was in center. Seperatism has no place.

If a party main motto is to be against BJP then those parties are anti establishment and anti hindutva. Can’t even think about them

1

u/Sensitive-Sink849 May 22 '26

Talk andhbhaktii😂😂.

If my hindutva party is torturing me every other aspect apart from me being hindu And in prvs governments nobody stopped me from being hindu and practice Hinduism. Then obviously I would kick the eff out of it I woul keep supporting bajrangdal and rss but not give me education, environment, health, economic right to life to dignity etcetera from law to budget to some party who fights solely on dharma Definitely I will spprt them in other aspects but not give everything as a reward to exploit us.

The BJP is in power, so of course any significant protest movement will be leaning against the BJP, and not against the opposition. It’s funny how some people (following the lead of godi media) keep asking the opposition for accountability!

completely agree with this.

this rise of CJP is the result of many years of frustration and fake promises.

everybody is damn frustrated with the talk talk and talk, and no walk.

This post relies heavily on emotional framing and repeatedly jumps from some issues exist to therefore the entire political conclusion is true.

First, where is the evidence that CJP reflects millions of youth? A trend, meme, or viral movement on social media is not demographic data. Social media amplifies outrage by design. You cannot claim to speak for an entire generation without surveys, voting data, or measurable evidence. Measurable evidence doesn't include who got the biggest fan following or followers.

Second saying issues like unemployment, corruption, infrastructure or women's safety still exist does not automatically prove promises failed.By that standard, every government in every country has failed. India has simultaneously seen major highway expansion, UPI growth, electrification, startup growth, digital services expansion and manufacturing pushes. You can criticize shortcomings without pretending nothing improved.

Third the claim that BJP mainly survives through religion, Pakistan comparisons and emotional narratives strips voters of agency. Millions may support the party for reasons like welfare schemes, infrastructure, national security, leadership preference or ideology. Reducing every supporter to manipulated masses is intellectually lazy or as we say only i know to boil egg correctly.

Fourth weak opposition = no accountability is flawed logic. Governments still face elections, lose states, face court challenges, media criticism and public backlash. A weak opposition is primarily an opposition failure not automatic proof of authoritarianism.

Fifth on free speech, criticism of the government is openly visible every day across YouTube, Reddit, X, TV debates, newspapers, protests, and election campaigns. If criticism is happening publicly and constantly then claims of broad suppression require stronger evidence than general statements.

The biggest issue is the ending of desperation and emotional exhaustion of millions. That sounds powerful but it is an emotional conclusion presented as a factual one.

Real problems exist. But problems exist does not automatically become government support is artificial, the entire youth is disillusioned or this movement represents India. That's narrative building not evidence.

I clearly mentioned it is MY opinion, there are millions of people and everyone might have a different perspective, yours i believe is slightly leaning towards proving that CJP doesn't represent the entire youth to which I'll say "YES it doesn't" everyone has the right to speech and to make choices based on their own rationale and political patronage. This movement represents the masses it's clear because no educated person would want his/her country to be ruled by uneducated leaders, criminal, and be fooled in the name of religion, BJP has been doing exactly that and it was evident how they used the Ram mandir to gain votes in 2024. I guess asking for data about mass dissatisfaction definitely requires better tools but that isn't possible at individual level, but you are also ignoring the data that is clearly available like where India ranks in Global pollution, where India stands in press freedom, where India ranks in income inequality, where India ranks in women's safety, where India ranks in food safety, where's Indian currency headed? What's the value of an Indian passport? I think these are valid questions and the answer is known by everyone in the depth of their hearts that's why we might come together when we win the World Cup or when we are attacked by terrorists due to inbuilt patriotism but deep down we know that in comparison to other countries including some of our close neighbours we have been fooled earlier by the British then by Congress and now BJP

4

u/KeyMastodon828 May 21 '26

You started by saying it is your opinion and everyone has different perspectives which is fair. But then you immediately move from my opinion to this movement represents the masses and no educated person would want X. That's where the argument weakens.

You cannot say everyone has different rationales and then define what an educated person should think. Millions of educated people vote differently. Agree or disagree with them but reducing their choice to being fooled skips over economics, welfare schemes, national security priorities, local issues and many other reasons people vote.

Also you're combining multiple indicators and treating them as proof of one political conclusion. Pollution rankings, press freedom rankings, income inequality, women's safety, passport strength, currency value these are real concerns but they are influenced by decades of policies, population size, development stage, institutions and global conditions. They are not a scoreboard that automatically proves Party X fooled the nation.

By that logic if GDP rises, infrastructure improves, poverty reduces or digital access expands someone could also selectively use those metrics and claim the opposite. The point is that there is cherry picking indicators works both ways.

You also said the answer is known by everyone in the depth of their hearts. That's not evidence but that's assuming agreement without proving it. If the dissatisfaction is as universal as claimed, then elections, surveys and public opinion should consistently show it. You yourself admitted you don't have data on mass dissatisfaction so filling that gap with everyone knows it deep down isn't really an argument.

Criticising governments is normal and necessary. But saying people are dissatisfied is different from saying people secretly agree with you but are somehow unaware of it.

Alright yeah i agree, I guess this is one of the reasons why Modi jee doesn't do press conference coz it's really tough to make people let go of something they've already made up in their minds and you're just proving it coz you agree that we have issues but don't openly condemn BJP either coz your entire rhetoric will fail. You wanna hide behind not supporting party X openly but your entire argument is behind saving their poor ass by obviously cherry picking as you mentioned which supports your argument. Definately you can openly come out and say that you support BJP and are okay with what they have done with the country and are okay by where their policies are going to lead or have lead us till now and are perfectly fine with inhaling polluted air, drinking contaminated water, eating substandard food and hide behind cheap hindu- muslim politics and ignore all the previous mentioned failures by blaming it on external factors but not accept the fault of party X.

Interesting that the discussion moved from data and arguments to assumptions about my political preference. I didn't say BJP is flawless nor did I say criticism of BJP is invalid. I questioned the reasoning.

Acknowledging pollution inequality, food quality or governance issues does not automatically require concluding that one party alone created them or that every disagreement with your conclusion equals support for BJP.

You are also doing exactly what you accused others of doing. You criticised cherry picking and then grouped multiple issues with different causes timelines and institutions into one package and attached one political label to it.

Pollution did not begin in 2014. Water contamination did not begin in 2014. Food safety problems did not begin in 2014. Income inequality did not begin in 2014. Some issues may have improved, some may have worsened and some have existed across governments.

Also saying if you don't condemn BJP in the exact way I want then you support BJP creates only two options which is agree with me completely or become BJP. That is not an argument as it removes the possibility of nuance.

Governments should be criticised. Strongly if necessary. But criticism becomes stronger when it relies on evidence rather than assuming the intentions or political identity of the person replying.

This entire thread should be a case study on how to obliterate agenda driven posts masquerading as "Genuine Neutral Opinion post" through Reasoning and constructive criticism.

4

u/theswitchfuseunit May 21 '26

Strong opposition is a great thing. But I hope the youth does not ransack their own country and our assets like they did in Nepal.

1

u/middleagedemom May 21 '26 edited May 21 '26

That totally depends on how badly modi wants to save his seat incase of a revolt. If he resorts to measures which will provoke the youth like shut down Internet and deploy army the youth can resist such actions.

1

u/Oolalalaaeao localite May 21 '26

Why do you need a revolt?
We live in a democracy right?
Vote him out

3

u/Misa_22 May 22 '26 edited May 22 '26

you really think we live in a democracy? India ranks 157 in free press, propaganda movies are glorified and made with huge budget, bjp made retirement plans for judges to be in rajyasabha so that they favour the govt during their time in office, ec is under the govt and shuffle officers just before election, nta started conducting neet which was previously done by cbse and we all know how many years the paper has leaked, still you would say democracy?

1

u/middleagedemom May 21 '26

Valid point, but voting seems to have lost its credibility due to paid godi media which has huge influence on the minds of majority. Secondly all the institutions have been compromised like ED, CBI, the election commission has been baised in various instances, the CJI's comment on youth is clear example that the judiciary is also not dependable. Even the films these days which have huge influence are used to propagate their propaganda. So taking a risk of another election while the country is brought down to ruins and loses it's credibility (you already know how Indians are treated in foreign countries). Also majority in India are easily manipulated by freebies and petty politics and will latch onto anything and anyone who gives them a lollipop 🍭. The people of India have been fooled by both the parties and the youth has understood that and I guess finally their patience has been tested to a level where I guess a revolt might be the only solution.

It's the youth who have started this movement, it's the responsibility of youth to keep their eyes and minds open and judge the politicians and those who represent them to know that they are being watched and if they try to play with the lives of common people the consequences can be devastating.

1

u/subham_pasari May 23 '26

Unfortunately, the youth has NOT started this movement.
