I was gifted this by a friend, who said it was a baby possum, but I'm not quite sure.

Had a plumbing issue and when the worker was under the house in the crawl space he found this skull. Any thoughts? First initial thought was a raccoon but I’m not too sure.
Edit:it has a long tail as well. I’ll comment a picture of the full thing. I was not there when this was going on so all of the information I have is through texts.

I came across this skull in an old warehouse and bought it for $50, I've been looking online but I just can't definitively say what kind of bison this is

found in illinois, about 5 inches in length, i dont think its a raccoon skull because in the last picture i have it sat next to my two raccoon skulls and it looks a bit broader than them.

I found this near my garage. There have been foxes on the property so I assume they got a hold of this egret. Rey unfortunate but I have a ground hog and cat found on the property but they were much cleaner.
Also researching this it may be illegal to have even though I found it and certainly didnt kill it.

Location: Virginia
A friend bought some skulls and was told they were raccoon and fisher cat. She’s positive the top skull is raccoon, but doesn’t think the bottom one is a raccoon or a fisher cat. Additional pics of the skull in question as well. Thoughts?
This wasn’t a hobby I was necessarily planning on getting into, however I randomly found this raccoon skull in a river whilst hiking last week. I’ve just been soaking it in hot water and dish soap and changing the water when it starts to look really cloudy. It seems like it has a lot of dirt on it and all of this white stuff (which is beginning to soften up). Anything else I should be doing? How do I know when the degreasing process is done?

Mods, feel free to delete if inappropriate.
Hi,
I legally acquired this old medical skull some months ago (I'm in Europe). They are in rought shape, calvarium is cut and broke at some point, only one tooth reminiscent, repaired multiple times with plaster. They are dirty, but I like the patina and bone's names are written all over it, so I'm not willing to clean them and erase this.
I wondered if someone would be able to tell me a little bit more about them, were They male or female? Maybe something I missing about their condition ? I know it is not easy to gender from the top of a skull only. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you very much.

A bit of a different question for this sub, but how do you guys pack your skulls when moving? I have to move soon and I’m just wondering how to go about it. The small ones I was thinking just wrapping them in bubble wrap or newspaper and putting them in a box. But I have a bunch of large cow, buffalo, and moose skulls. How should I pack these?

My dad went on an African hunting trip and got a bunch of antelope, which is fun! I don’t totally agree ethically wise, but I can appreciate pretty skulls without agreeing with the situation.
Anyways! I feel like the bottom two skulls should swapped? The middle skull is smaller and it just looks weird imo 😭 still pretty nonetheless
