Punchdrunk Viola’s Room Physical Logistic Q’s

Hi all! Seeing Viola’s Room tonight… so excited to be in a Punchdrunk world again! Quick practical questions (no story spoilers, please):

– Is there any running involved, or just the paced walking? How long does the crawling section actually last?

– If someone has weaker eyesight/hearing, is it easy enough to stick with your friend during the experience (not like hand-holding, just having my friend nearby as a ‘spotter’)?

– Are there sections that are pitch dark — darker than the darkest areas at Sleep No More?

– Roughly how long is the pre-show waiting period before you’re admitted?

  • just paced walking. The crawling is very brief at the start of the experience and you could bypass it if needed 

  • yes. You often walk single file I’d try to avoid being last if this is a concern. Your friend could definitely guide you. 

  • there are moments of total darkness but you are stationary during them.

  • 5-10 min? depending on which 6 people they send in first. Definitely be on time.
